General Stock Discussion / I stock can't see purchases.« on: February 08, 2017, 00:32 »
I feel like I am in grade school like having the teacher say. "raise your hand if you have to go to the bathroom" It's plain stupid to work so hard and have your sales information removed from the bottom of the list. Are we in prison?

Wouldn't it be better to concentrate on taking more saleable photos and submitting to one or two micro sites instead of raising your blood pressure and taking time away from your love ones. Is it worth losing a relationship?

Why should we have to jump through hoops? I refuse to do that.

No reason given. I've had enough!! The whole system is a mess and unforgiven. Why be easy on them when they have made things miserable for us photographers?

Alamy notified me that all 3,000+ of my images are poor discoverability.
What a shame and waste of time doing all that uploading and keywording!! Can you believe that? 184

If the women can demonstrate (This past weekend) for respect and fair treatment, maybe all photographers who have had enough should have a weekend movement at their headquarters. Afterall, a picture is a thousand words.

This is a bad system for me. I hate it. Why do we as photographers have to put up with this crap down our throats time after time?

General Stock Discussion / How do you FTP on Bigstock.« on: January 26, 2017, 21:50 »
I have never uploaded any images FTP on Bigstock. I see the three steps listed but how do you get the images from my harddrive. This sounds so elementary but I want to try it.
Someone please guide me on this one. I need step by step help especially on how to get my images from my hard drive. Thanks All. 187
General Stock Discussion / Re: Shutterstock Map Broken?« on: January 26, 2017, 14:45 »
No need to get your blood pressure up. I have been dealing with Bigstock(Shutterstock other company) over three weeks on their uploading problem and it has yet to be solved. So, I have all these new images that can't be uploaded. That's painful when I am still sitting on these images for weeks not making any sales.
It's almost like a bad marriage. Everything is fine in the beginning, you get sick and can't make as much as money as you use to and all of a sudden you are not important anymore. With that comes disrespect, who cares, that's your problem, you figure it out comes into play. We live in a world where hardly anyone will give you a straight answer. So go out and buy a lottery ticket and maybe those numbers will be winners. Therefore, you can lower your blood pressure, stop worrying and get on with your life instead of wondering if when, why, unreported sales has occured. 188

General Stock Discussion / Bigstock Uploading Broken. (Three Weeks)« on: January 25, 2017, 22:18 »
Bigstock--I have written support and the answers has been. We know what the problem is and we are working on it. You would think by having their office in New York where all the tech people are and some without jobs could help solve this simple problem.
I stated in my last e-mail to them, when you walk down to Starbucks from your office you might see some jobless guys asking for money on the street willing to come back to your office in dirty clothes to fix this disaster immediately. Then when they fix the problem which has been lingering on for weeks offer them a job and fire . out the present programmers because they don't know what they are doing and should not be making these high paid salaries for a job not done. I think President Trump will be cutting back the waste from corporations who has that good ole boys network and paid family members as employees. Of course, he can do that because his kids are responsible and all have a get the job done approach to business. So Bigstock, you live in the same city. Take notes on how your organization need to step up to the plate. 191

Here we go again! Bigstock uploading is broken. It's sad to run a business like that when so many talented people out there or even a high school student could do a better job in fixing the problems.

It's so annoying. Why fix something when it's not broken? Can we at least have a choice to leave it as it was or ask for feedback from us which none of this was done. We are just left in the dust as usual.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Amounts disappeared from Stats Page« on: January 08, 2017, 17:14 »
Why not Istock, just leave everything simple like it was? We as photographers have enough to worry about trying to submit the best images for approval. This new system was not necessary and for sure not user friendly.
I will not upload any new images because of this so call system to help photographers. 198
