300 sales in July for 25c!
That is $75, buy some food at the grocery store.
Won't buy much where I live.
Think of what 300 video sales would have brought in not long ago.
How many days last a grocery buy $75 for a family of 2 adult people ? In my country Venezuela 1 week last a grocery buy $75, in grocery stores with cheaper prices.

Welcome back to the June 2021 detailed monthly report during these increasingly strange and desperate times!
In addition to my monthly earnings, I discuss my first experience with capturing and uploading drone footage.
https://brutallyhonestmicrostock.com/2021/06/29/june-2021-brutally-honest-earnings-report/
How did you do this month?
Looking at yours numbers, I think it's not worth investing in equipment for microstock . For me last month (June) I made profit on image stock sites around $ 40. That earning include Adobe Stock, 123Rf, Dreamstime, Alamy, FAA, Deposit Photos, Pond5 and Istock. I was banned from Shitterstock .. Thank God I have other jobs, because if I only have microstock, I would be lost! .

Wow u found one. Give me 20 minutes and I can find at least 10!
What a stupid reply. He's just trying to be helpful.
Why don't they do anything?
Easy question, because shitterstock banned the thieves and shitterstock continue earning money with the stolen videos.

Making fun and jokes about people that are successful, just to patheticaly try to show that you don't care about their succes and that your own success on some more spiritual level is where value is, is again pathetic. You guys are making fools of yourselves. All you can do is suck one of Oringers guitars
This guy must be Jon Oringer. I have not seen anyone defending someone in this way on these forums.

Shooting for a fair middle that will get sales and make me happy. $25 is that point for prints.
There's nothing to be afraid or scared in asking a fair price, FineArt is supposed to be a luxury item after all, it's not microstock.
$25 commission is my fair price for allowing someone to own a print of one of my photos, as I determined it? A little more if they print larger.
I should really set all prints at $30 and up, so one sale, covers my whole years subscription? Hey, there's a plan?
With a Payoneer card it is possible to pay for premium subscription on Fine Art America?

unfortunately quitting premium basically means you're not going to sell any of the few images you're allowed for free - might as well just leave
for me it's another passive income -- if i make > the premium fee i'll stay
Is it possible to get back the $ 30 for the Premium subscription by selling something there? I only have 25 images there, i'm there since october 2021 and i have earned $11.5 .

Hi, i would like to know if Someone has heard about cafepress.com? it[s good place to sell designs?
Not really an answer but FAA and the paid account means everything is available on Pixels. All kinds of products and you only have to do the work once.
$30 a year is not much to pay for a linked personal gallery and you can also drop links in your own personal website if you have one. https://pete-klinger.pixels.com/ prints, home decor, apparel, tech items, puzzles, paper products. Personally Zazzle was complicated and I sold nothing, same for Red Bubble and Etsy is a joke.
FAA/Pixels I get returns for my time.
Society6 is complicated, but they match the dimensions to the product, so you won't get some Frankenstein crop of your images. They are trying to make the offerings match the product, for the benefit of the artists and for the buyers experience. I can understand why some people find the site unfriendly as you either have to create many versions, large pixel dimensions and different crops, or only offer things that are for the basic format.
After trying a number of different POD sites, I ended up with FAA/Pixels as the only one that seems to work for me.
Nice, I have a question. With premium plan paying $30 year at FAA they will give promotion and publicity to the sellers or we have to do it?
They have generally good Google SEO, but they don't pretend other than you have to do the promotion work. Any sales I get there are just luck. All the premium plan does is let you upload more than a small number of files. Oh, and I think you only get your own pixels subsite (your-name.pixels.com) if you pay. They claim it's 'fully customisable' - it's anything but, there are only tiny tweaks you can do. But at least you can direct buyers to your 'own' site, either directly or via your blog, social media etc, and they won't be distracted by other people's work.
You can see that many people just use the site for fulfilment. A proportion of files which sell have no keywords or caption at all (I first discovered this accidentally one day when I wondered who a man was whose photo had sold: the title was very generic like Portrait 43 and when I clicked in, there was no info (caption or keywords) on the photo).
I suspect there may be paid placement, but I haven't proved this and in the past, they've denied it. Sometimes a large search term is completely dominated by one contributor: sometimes their work is excellent and sometimes IMO not so much (tastes differ, of course).
Thanks, very complete information. I need to think beacuase i have to spend $30 and i would like i least to earn that $30.

Anyone knows what type of license a customer should take to use a stock footage clip in Broadcast TV commercials. One of my clips was sold with a standard license at iStock, however, I saw it being used in my local news ad. The ad is shown multiple times a day for several months on one of the main TV channels in the US.
How many dollars did you earn for that clip?

I tried them. I find them not as flexible as I would like them to be. Most of the "goodies" are offered as premium services. Dashboard services are not as easy to use. Better off with some of the others out there.
Thanks!

Try Zazzle instead. They don't charge to set up a shop. The seller shops at cafepress don't work properly and are outdated and Cafepress is not doing anything to fix them yet they charge money for them.
How can i sell my designs in Zazzle ? Thanks!

Just complain and drain the anger, because there is nothing left to do. It is really frustrating. I'm really screwed! Time to switch to another activity if I don't want to starve. As es la vida!

Could it be, that you have more trouble with selling new photos since around February? I
No, it already started last year for me. Adobe had it's peak for me in Summer 20, since then it's only going slowly downhills. This month is the worst. Adobe isn't even among my top selling agencies anymore.
Same, this month is the worst for me.

So for all you haters out there, looks like Jon has fallen on hard times and is selling his more expensive home in the Hamptons and moving to Florida to one that's about $10 million dollars less value? Poor guy, what's he going to do next?
Poor rich guy, maybe he will sell his car and buy a cheap one.
