In august I have had almost only credits sales with a rpd 1.9, this month only subs with rpd 0.75, thank you so much Dreamstime, it's a funny game.

You can not compare SS who includes also "on demand downloads" "single download" and sell pretty well El at 28$ with Depositphotos with its so depressing low subs.
One agency started from subs and has added some creative licenses, the other start with subs and nothing more, nothing exciting...not even the commissions. So, why the creativity has to be only on the photographer side?? And for peanuts??? 180

Ok i will opt out also.
Depositphotos, I'm always waiting your answer for opt out in subs who are incredibly low, 30c $ is simply nothing, in Euro it's empty space, do you think our works is so crappy? ![]() I've started to send my new files at only 4mpx, soon i will ask you again to delete all my other files at 12-21mpx. 181

After my message saying I want them to delete my portfolio because subs prices are by far to low , they ask me not to be angry and they will talk with the manager to see if opt out is possible.
They will answer asap. Wait and see... 182

Pond5 / Re: First Sale on Pond5« on: September 09, 2012, 07:32 »
Yes, sorry, for Istock, you have to be sticked as an "exclusive one" to get almost the same royalties, but you can not fix the price, they can do that they want, and they do!

Pond5 / Re: First Sale on Pond5« on: September 09, 2012, 06:39 »
10$ seems to be a good price for most of the cases, 5$ too low for large file.
Don't forget the high prices buyers give for pictures at Istock, contributors usually only got 15-20% !!! After all, with Pond 5, you are 100% responsible and you can choose the price higher for some rare pictures, that's simply great! YOU are the seller! Difference between Pond 5 and other agencies is simply like life and death ( I know, death is also a part of life) ![]() 186
Pond5 / Re: First Sale on Pond5« on: September 08, 2012, 11:49 »
I've sold also 5 photos this week for a "at last" fair commission, Pond 5 is simply a perfect agency, I pray for its long life and wish they'll stay fair all along.

I'm contributor with depositphotos only since one month, they contact me and ask me to send photos if i would.
I think I've made a big mistake because I send them all my files at high resolution and I see they selling 99% of sub for a ridiculous 30c $ (20c ). That's clear we should never send high resolution files to fotolia or deposit, even in most of the big sites, but 30c is the stingiest ever ![]() I've just send them an email asking for deleting my portfolio as soon as possible. I will maybe send my files again at the smallest resolution they accept. 188
Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia - continuing serious EL pricing issue - check it out« on: September 07, 2012, 17:50 »
I've never thought it was a bug too, Fotolia team is the most vicious of all and they never communicate with contributors.

When i read this thread, i wonder why my sales this month are all almost credits and not subscription!!!
It's my BME here and the first time things go up since 3 years, I suppose it's a change in the search algorithm, but it's fit exactly for me! ![]() 191

Countries in South east Asia like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia... life is at very low cost there...but you could lack of subject and Asian models photos are not selling very well.
