I just want to point out that not all Macro shooters hate Micro shooters, its a very small minority and generally speaking they are the one's that hide their own inabilities behind their hate for Micro.

You would be surprised how many traditional macro shooters have and are joining micro sites.

I like many others had been with Alamy a long time before I started submitting to Microstock, it's just another side of the industry.

Same reply here as I've given on Talkmicro.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Submitting Fractals to DT

Firstly I don't do Fractals, never have done and I know nothing about them or the way they're created apart from what's just been said, some take minutes and others can be very complicated and can take hours.

But my question is what are they actually used for, surely because of their complexity it limits their usage, I admit some are fantastic and look great, but I just can't see that they would have much of an appeal except to a limited audience.

And as already stated isn't it a case of just pumping a few numbers into a software programme and then waiting to see what the result is?

You've really spoilt my exitement now, I thought I was the only one to be individually picked out to receive vast sums of money from illiterate Nigerian bankers.

One thing I have deduced from these emails is, if you're a wealthy businessman with no living relatives, and you've just deposited upward of $2m whatever you do don't go for a drive, because you will most certainly be involved in a tragic road accident.

I think sales have been the same so far is too early to tell BUT the site is a right mess at the moment

I'll second that, they really should concentrate their resources on getting the site fixed.

Oh and answering questions on their forums would be a good thing too!!

Hmm I must say I agree with the last two posts.

What makes you say the reviewer was angry, they don't normally give anything than a 'standard button' pressed result.

To be honest I don't get many rejections at SS and on the odd occasion that I do I just accept that it's part and parcel of the industry, it can be annoying but there you go.

Only ten keywords allowed, there shouldn't be any spamming then.

I'm happy to opt in, and it's nice to see an agency that listens to it's contributors reasonable requests.

All is good for me but I'll second/third the model release request.

I can't remember waiting any more than three days for a review there, maybe you should send them an email.

Thanks for the reply, it was a large batch and now I've looked at the rejection page they all say the same thing 'no image attached', I'll have a go with some smaller batches to see if that works.

I'm amazed FP are still in existence, I've yet to hear of anybody who has made any real money with them.

Shame like a lot of other sites they have a nice layout and friendly people, but at the end of the day we put our images on these sites for selling.

Josh,
I had a few technical problems uploading some stuff last week, a lot of files went through the process but there's no image attached when I try to complete the process, and 24 of my files said 'out of memory'.
I did send two messages to your support but haven't had any reply yet.

I had the exact same thing the other week, it looked fine on the edit page though.
Not a lot you can do about it I suppose.

I'll stick with Alamy, Getty and the specialist sites I'm with.

15% & Exclusive - You have got to be kidding.

My opinion is that I upload to an agency because I want them to do all the marketing and sell my images, Featurepics is all very nice and the commision level is good, however that all means sweet F.A if they don't actually sell anything.
If I was going to do all the marketing why . would I need Featurepics, I'd just keep 100% for myself.

Alamy are very well known, they do loads of marketing, the prices are set so you aren't competeing with your fellow contributors on price, commision is 60% and above all else they actually sell stuff, you can also sell RM stuff.
