I couldn't even submit images before.  After hitting the last submit button, the page sat for quite a while before getting through.

For the last week or two, SS keeps timing out, whether it's the forums or the profile page.  I have to usually load several times or wait for it to get through.  My iphone app won't start up either - as soon as it hits the info, it crashes.

Anyone else?

She neither paid for them ( she paid you for end results ) nor agreed to the CLA, so, see ya!

Now, I believe if she bought them, she can give them to you to use in her project, but that's all the rights you have to them.

Keep in mind that IS won't help with anything if your subject is moving - people, leaves, etc.

Even as a 25-A day and not an EL?

Thanks for the answer.

Sure.  That's the point of basic RF - promotional use.

Sure, it's fine.   It isn't redistribution, it's using it in a video.  Just like many stock photos are used in a video.  Redistribution would be redistributing the vector file.

You must explain your client that she paid for the banner you designed not for the images in the banner.   She can't get those original images directly from you.

+ Yep .  I think 24 is there to stop you from "stockpiling".

Well, I just got $3.57 for a 3 credit XS.  Nice.

"Though the service sparked controversy, it wasnt illegal. The prints were made from photos shared to Flickr using the attribution license, which allows commercial use. "

Yeah, I don't get it.  The posters are just getting what they wanted by using the CC license.

The other thread is not inherently positive or negative.  You can post your "hopes" there.

That thread is for "predictions".  This is for "hopes".  There can be quite a difference.

Lol, yeah, ok.

The images you link in the other thread are very editorial style, just documentary of what is going on.  Very eye-level, simple composition.  If you can create some images with your access like these, you'd probably have better luck.

You're going to have to do work a lot better and more complex than that to have any level of success.

That just gives me the "backstage" look.  I want a link to "canva.com/seanlockephotography" - my online "storefront".

Why can't I find a link to my portfolio?  I would think my icon would lead there, or something.  Or am I missing it?

Why would you give away 'secrets' if you're already having a hard time turning a profit?
