I pay $50 a month for the full CC suite and have zero complaints. Did you have any trouble installing CC? I've been seriously thinking about it for a number of reasons, but have heard some installation horror stories.

My photo gear is also a tax writeoff. From what I understand you have two choices. Either take the value as a lump sum the year you purchase the gear or take a portion of the value each year over several years. Either way, your gear purchases reduce your tax liability in the US.

The model in the image used in the article linked below contacted me this morning. In your opinion, is this an accepted use of the image? It seems like the usage makes it look like the photo is of "Tom Logan," the chef mentioned/quoted in the article. The model wasn't upset, just amused at seeing another photo of him in use. A license was sold this morning on DT. What are your thoughts? Xanox, my experience with Tamron has been very different from yours. I have a 17-50 f/2.8 and a 28-75 f/2.8 and don't have any AF problems with either of them.

The Tamron all the way! You'll get much better low-light performance than with the Canon.

Maybe you can sue him for bringing a false claim. Perhaps that would send a message that people need to stop and think before doing the most stupid thing possible in any given situation!!

It's funny how different people have different needs. I absolutely BABY my gear, so being rugged/weather-sealed isn't a big deal for me. I'm mostly looking for the most features per dollar.

I feel your pain. I've only uploaded 11 images in the past 2 years. I'm spending my time building my main business and counting the infrequent payouts from the other agencies as "extra" money, not something that I count on.
I can say that I'm much less stressed by the changes that I read about here!
It seems to me that someone as talented and intelligent as yourself will find other ways of making money that make you happier.
