If you want to be 100% safe, just make your own photos.

General - Top Sites / Re: For vector artists only: who's your recent top earners?« on: February 04, 2017, 10:42 »
After SS and FT for me is 123RF (closely followed by DT).
About iS I have no idea, and I stopped uploading there since summer of last year. I only use IS when I have problems with my too low blood-pressure, I just read one of their e-mails, and I am as good as new : ![]() 208

I just love how they finish their e-mail:
"We hope you enjoy ESP!" Do you? 210
Image Sleuth / Re: Oh dear Canstock tut tut« on: January 25, 2017, 12:39 »Yeah... well I've pretty much stopped uploading to any micros because of stuff like this. I'm having better results elsewhere. I am around since 2009 and still uploading. My earnings are a bit lower than previous years, but I really love to do this (draw whatever I like, not what is imposed). It is not my only income, sometimes I do custom works (but those clients also come through to microstock). Where else are you having better results if you don't mind me asking? 211

I can only see one image of a sunrise in this port. For a moment I thought maybe it is his/her only original image, but I was wrong, it is also a stolen image:

Shutterstock.com / Re: Reference image required.« on: January 14, 2017, 10:51 »
It happened to me too lately, but I really don't think it is for all vectors (after that batch I submitted an other vector and they did not ask for anything).
Perhaps it is just a new reviewer for vectors. 215

(I am not saying it will be you, can be just anyone reading this). I agree. Different sites, different images that sell. My best seller on DT is so old and bad that I am ashamed to show it ![]() 217

(I am not saying it will be you, can be just anyone reading this). It is nothing special about it though, I think it was just uploaded in the right time (without planning it) and then made it to popular - first or second for some keywords, and it is still there. Now it does not sell so much, but still sells everyday. And the reason I think others outdo that for sure: this vector never made it to most popular vectors (regardless of keywords). I am talking about shutterstock BTW. 219
Shutterstock.com / Re: how many vector files should i have to make $100 per month« on: January 09, 2017, 16:52 »Although, they probably haven't got just one image... they'll have a bunch of images, but one or more of them make $100 a month. This is how I meant.. But for sure it is possible. I am not that successful, but still I have one vector that made 100$ a month for almost 3 years. I imagine people with really popular vectors outdo that easily. Anyways, the original question was not so good (that is why I responded like this) because it is not about how many files, but what quality and what is the demand etc. - and that is hard to quantify. 220
Adobe Stock / Re: 23 cent sales in January« on: January 08, 2017, 13:39 »I'm getting 0,21 sales as well. I got warning messages from Adobe about expired tax form, with every message about my file being sold, until I submitted the new tax form. 221

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Amounts disappeared from Stats Page« on: December 30, 2016, 06:07 »http://www.microstockgroup.com/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif I was asking for a link to see my earnings, not a something that is in the forums (which I know is forbidden to post). I found the forum, but couldn't find the thread that contains info about where can I check my earnings.
Sorry, I don't get it, what is the big secret? Why people who have this link can not just post it here? 225
iStockPhoto.com / Re: I am still awaiting payment from last month. Any contact for support?« on: December 23, 2016, 04:57 »I have a similar problem but slighlty different..the automatic payout is not working to me and my money are still on IS from two months...ok they're growing sensibly but is like i cannot go to the ATM and withdraw my money I didn't say that. I don't remember when was the last time I submitted tax form, but maybe 2 years ago. They warn you in an e-mail when it's expired. And perhaps you can also see that is expired, when you go to complete it (this I am not sure about). |
