Subscription is just kind of "thank you, Tyler" for me. I need no extra features at all. 25 USD is nothing compared to money I made thanks to useful info that I found on MSG.

Pimping must work. There are many contributors on SS forum that have 3000 posts on forum but only 50 lcv images online. They probably concentrate on pimparketing. :-/ SS forum became absolutely useless.

Reviewers on strike?
For the first time since I started on IS (year and a half ago) I can upload a new batch while the previous is still pending for review (sept 10) Anyone else?
Closely but me too - previous review took 8 days.

It's SS or IS? Cause I don't sell anything at IS for 5-6 days and I don't have any views on my files. But I can find them on searches. And I do get reviews of new files.
iS Contributor News: September 14, 2012: Image views are not showing in real time. There is now a longer delay to the view counter updating after a view. We are looking into this.

Hey MSGers,
The other day while uploading pics on one of the MS companies I noticed an elderly lady sticking a gun in her mouth- the title was something like "Time to End This"
I thought the MS companies would reject this type of photo? Just glad my 10 year daughter wasn't next to me when I was uploading pics to this company...
"...but you know what the funniest thing about Europe is? It's the little differences..." It would never cross my mind (as well as mind of absolute majority of Europeans - I hope) that studio photograph of someone pretending suicide could be considered by anybody as offensive.

You're right I have "10.0" in script as well, probably I never checked whole script. It has nothing to do with Student Edition - I have both 5.0 and 6.0 full versions and it's same. I read somewhere that this is only Mac's problem but I'm not sure. I used to change AI11 to AI10 but some of vectors were not editable in AdobeIllustrator10 anymore (I didn't find any pattern which ones).
I still think that reviewer (or utility they use) checks only header or beginning of script/document. As I wrote I had this problem only with SS (when CS5 was new), can't say about iS - I haven't uploaded any eps10 there yet.
I'm afraid that all you can do is to write to support, send them screenshots and explain that these files are really eps10 and that it is not your mistake but Adobe's bug/feature. I spent days discussing this issue both with Adobe and SS support, I took old G4 with AI10 software out of garage to test it but I didn't find anything that I could change myself.

When rumours about D600 appeared months ago I was sure that this would be my next camera. But things in micro have changed. I'd better buy three iPhones instead.

I know, I have no problems with it (as well as Corel users). But SS reviewers had problem with it and it seems that at iS they still have. I have no personal experience - I haven't uploaded any eps10 to iS yet. I tried to discuss this issue with Adobe Support - with no concrete result.

I opened the files in a text editing program and everywhere it says Illustrator 15.1. I don't see 10.0 ANYWHERE!
Try this. Open the eps in a text editor. Search for the actually file name e.g. filename.eps That should be written twice in the document, once at the top and once near the bottom. The one near the bottom will also state the eps version nearby.
I don't think so. I have no idea what all these letters mean but saved to EPS10 it looks like:
I can't see the file name in your quote?. When I looked at mine it was just below the text you quoted and includes the version (10) as shown below.
%%Creator: Adobe Illustrator(R) 10.0 %%AI8_CreatorVersion: 15.0.0 %%For: (Administrator) () %%Title: (filename.eps)
I deleted it. It's: %ADO_DSC_Encoding: MacOS CentralEuropean %%Title: Filename.eps %%Creator: Adobe Illustrator(R) 15.1 %%For: iMac 2 %%CreationDate: 9/10/12 %%BoundingBox: 0 0 323 307 %%HiResBoundingBox: 0 0 323 307 %%CropBox: 0 0 323 307 %%LanguageLevel: 2 %%DocumentData: Clean7Bit %ADOBeginClientInjection: DocumentHeader "AI11EPS" %%AI8_CreatorVersion: 15.1.0 %AI9_PrintingDataBegin %ADO_BuildNumber: Adobe Illustrator(R) 15.1.0 x39 R agm 4.5189 ct 5.1875 %ADO_ContainsXMP: MainFirst %ADOEndClientInjection: DocumentHeader "AI11EPS"

"AI11EPS" was reason why Shutterstock used to reject my vectors. I even tried to change "11" to "10" and save in script editor but it worked only for very few files. Some of them were not possible to open by Illustrator10 after this change.

I opened the files in a text editing program and everywhere it says Illustrator 15.1. I don't see 10.0 ANYWHERE! I think that this the problem. From CS5 (I think - I skipped CS4) version of AI - it doesn't show "AI10" in script even though vectors really are EPS10. When I've bought CS5 when it was just released - SS started refusing my vectors. It was a loooong discussion, I had to swear that they really are EPS10, I installed old Illustrator 10 application to check that vectors are really ok.... I convinced one reviewer about my truth and other rejected my batch next time. So I think that problem is in iStock's approval procedure. They probably open vectors in some kind of text or script editor as you did and when they see "AI11EPS" instead of AI10 they reject it. As iS is new in "EPS10 business", they probably don't know about this "bug".

I stopped checking rejected images long time ago. It's good for my mental health. :-) The only site where I check rejections is Shutterstock because their rejections have influence on my earnings. Rejections from Veer or Crestock don't change significantly anything except size of my portfolio.

No. Two sales in first week. That's all. It seems that experience of others is absolutely same.

I'm waiting for D600. It seems that rumours will become true in few weeks. Also I've read article somewhere that D7000 is (or was) listed as discontinued at Amazon.de.

How can you check your number of RCs? I haven't found that option.
Look at the calc. tables they supply and check your DL stats YTD (quantities) for every dl type. Use the table to calc. your credits per type as per their table. Add all together and establish your Level from the level table.
http://davidgilder.com/misc/123RF_credit_calculator.html
Thanks. Very useful. The only problem is that I had to delete zeros for column LEL (Limited Extended Licence) that is in 123rf table but not in yours. But I don't remember that I have seen "LEL" in 123rf earnings few days ago.

I made two ebooks covers few weeks ago for client. Images were licensed from SS (books / ebooks: Standard - number of potential seat licenses or end users must not exceed 250,000 in the aggregate). As author is not J. K. Rowling, EL is not required.
