Just scored my first editorial sale on AS, only few days after uploading it! Nice!
If you can, would love to see what type of images Adobe accepted from you for editor. Thanks, Scott

I just did the math for my Alamy account. It was must better than I would have thought. I have been on Alamy for eight years. The average sale for eight years was 43 dollars per sale. So yes, Alamy is OK.....

I am not sure I use any encryption on Filezilla. I am sort of a dinosaur.

Had the same problem over a year ago. It still will not let me up load just like you. I do the FTP site upload now with no problems.

They turned me down. They said mine was not quite what they were looking for. Life goes on....

I really like Alamy. I sell 2-10 images a month. I wish it were more images as sometimes the sells price can be quite good. For me the sells are 4 bucks to $600 per image. The type images that sell for me are all over the range of just about everything. Maybe someday I can figure out what really sells. When I upload to them I just send a few images at a time. I find this works best to not getting rejections. If I coped it correctly you can see some of my images and how they are all over the spectrum. https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/wscottmcgill

Just an idea. Old school...Write down on a sheet of paper Who, What, Where ,When. Take a photo of the sheet of paper with your group of photos. Just a simple idea.

My balance is 33 bucks. I have made 2 dollars this year. So in maybe 10-13 years I will reach payout. Not sure I will even be on this earth by that time. Maybe I can donate the balance to my creditors then.

It is really up to the stock site if they will take one release. If it is your wife she most likely want sue you. Then again you never know. To be safe it is always a good idea to have a signed release for each session with correct shoot date. Not a bad idea to put a description of clothes/location of models also on model release.

I closed my account with them a long time ago. They never replayed back to e-mails and were not professional at all.

I have not change my Alamy photo info. Maybe I should but I don't thank so. With my images marked with poor visibility I still sell 200-800 bucks per month on Alamy. The selling dollar amount is like a rollercoaster .

I just looked at the site and set up an account. It is pretty cool but very confussioning on how they pay and how much. Very cool news clips on site. I was able to look at one and send it to Twitter. No pay for this to go to Twitter so I don't see how you make money on this site. Maybe someone knows as they have a lot of cool news clips.

I use the Removu 4k hand held. It is cheaper than the Osmo and works great. It has a small zoom also the focus works great without and problems. It also needs very good light to be usable for stock .

I found this interesting. I have been doing a series of concept photos/illustrations on Socialism. Most of the sites have excepted them. Shutterstock has excepted about 50% of them. I guess some of the reviewers have very liberal points of view. I have done Pro and Non Pro Socialist images. It seems SS likes the Pro images. Who would have thunk.

I have to agree something happened. I sold images pretty much everyday with them. Not much money but I think they owe me a couple hundred bucks. They did send me an e-mail and stated I would be paid. Frankly I would rather they stay open as I was selling. But I guess something happened....So see you latter alligator.

Size only matters in porno. In Stock average to small size is just fine.

I also thought I would never put down the Hasselblad's. Now they just collect dust as it has no real value. I thought I would buy Kodak film for the rest of my life. I have not purchased a roll of film in over 14 years. There is no end, just change...Just die or change. I think I will live another day.

What I have seen with the Removu is if you are outdoors the video is pretty good. Clearly good enough for Stock. The few clips I have uploaded have been accepted. If you are in a indoors in a low light area it has a lot of noise and poor saturation. Just the fact you can carry it around and not have the look of a big camera is cool.

Just got a new toy that is really fun. Removu K1 gimbal 4k video camera. B&H had it at 50% off ,which was $ 199.00. What is cool about it is that you can put it in you shirt/coat pocket. Quality is quit good for a small image size video. The gimbal is flawless with very steady images. Sometimes a new toy will get you out to take photos.

I don't know how it works in Europe but in the US even if you win and get a judgement it is really hard to get your money if they don't want to pay you. You can sell your won judgement to a collections agency for maybe 5% to 10% of its value. At the end of the day there will be jerks that steal your work. .....
