...and VideoHive and iStock and probably some others.
Also the most shittiest agencies you shouldn't upload to. But why listen to experts, just devalue your works like 99% amateur videographers do in all fields of video production. Like shooting a wedding for $200. #GG Concerning about taxes, there is a reason why tax exemptions exist. If they don't care and just pick taxes with all sales without respecting the W-8BEN form it's misleading marketing of their almighty "100% contributor income share" many of your kind are promoting as "good thing for industry", which in fact isn't and you earns less than Pond5, Adobe and even in some cases of different licenses on Shutterstock.

Basically, if your country is not one of the zero withholding tax countries (between the US and your home country) they will cut tax automatically. You should fill up W-8BEN form.
Tried that, didn't work. All other agencies don't pick tax, just videoblocks/storyblocks does.

It's their way of getting your portion of "100%" payment. Misleading marketing to get as many contributors on their site.

With new EU rules about privacy things, I suppose that even agencies will be affected by this. Will there be any changes in Model releases? Does anyone have any clue? Which model release has this covered as best as possible?

iShitty is the pure winner in failing.

maybe SS follows the steps of ishitty... putting images at risk being stolen and then sue anybody found using them. SS gets the (money) prize for winning the lawsuit. Contributors get none. Double win for SS.

we wrote to SS and this is what they replied: Over the past few years, video has become an increasingly powerful tool for online advertising. To meet this growing demand, we are offering footage clips to select online platforms for limited use at special rates.
While at times you may see that your earnings-per-clip is lower, these clips are for web or mobile application only. They can only be streamed; downloading and broadcast usage isn't permitted. This restriction has been designed to protect your earnings and give you an extra chance to make money. We got a single sale a few days ago with $1.50 for a clip.

Is there any technical reasons for such demand? Currently, we didn't get any rejections using old model releases for video.

stopped uploading to istock 2 years ago. Last month we even had a refund of $90, which sale never happened. The funny place is this crappy agency.

Revert the version of Adobe. We had to go back to 2017 version because many functions were a mess in newest versions and it completely broke our editing workflow when adding files from Premiere to AE. Paying for half-assed software. What a great industry.

I disagree with deleting 2years old files... in our case, a lot of first sales of videos come from old files 2+ years. Which is funny.

Now you can't even edit images/videos anymore. How are we able to change thumbnails now?
EDIT: Forget about it... found the way. It works through Catalog manager.

We uploaded about 20% footage but had 0% increase in income. Completely identical income results (maybe +- 100$).

This just explains how disgusting VB marketing strategy is and puts to shame all people defending their "awesome" commissions. Well, here are your commissions now. There won't be any sooner or later.

this was the worst month.... it is funny because the commissions are always very low, then we get a -$90 refund for a single clip. What the fuck? Was it even sold anytime at that price?! It looks very * suspicious.

when we tried uploading some stock photos, we uploaded some from our 5-year-old smartphone (lgg2) and photos were accepted with no problem. It was funny they were even accepted.

Solution: Don't update premiere.
We already had to downgrade Adobe to 2017 version because the newest version is so half-assed done that it destroyed our workflow.

Life outside the Earth doesn't exist, there is no such thing as mass people surveillance and people aren't responsible for global warming.
There is no proof for any of these. But if you aren't a stubborn moron, you can't deny it. #Justsayin

Anyone else noticing complete shutdown of sales for the past week? This would be the worst month ever since we contribute if this blackout continues.

Pond5 supposedly shut down the program in September, but we still get some signups via referral links... we didn't get any official answer about the topic.

Noticing the same too... it vanished and appeared back. Another glitch from SS.

VB is just a scam. They are just abusing contributors clips to push their own.
