John,

What about the existing Halloween related images?

Thanks,
Denis

I really like SmartFTP. Its multi upload feature is very useful.

Gross earnings for me do not show any data like that. Is it because I'm from the US? I see that epantha has this info. Am I missing something?

I don't expect them to give any explanation. Even if they give one, it would be very simple: He violated the rules and was banned for it.

It seems that copyright reassignment would still be against IS rules:

"Uploading any of the following is strictly prohibited and may result in a lifetime ban or legal action:
...
   2. A photograph that you didn't take.
...
"

Still, I agree with what Whitechild said about it and hope Rinder and IS get this resolved.

Someone's account at iStock seems to be missing now.... hmmm....

When typing www.istockphoto.com/rinderart, ti goes to IS home page. I just guessed Rinder's user name there. Other guesses say "Hang in there" page not found. So it might be true.

I agree with Adelaide. There should be a clear rule spelled out about this.

Thanks Adelaide! I didn't even know about fan clubs on Zazzle! I joined yours, too :)

I sold a set of stickers so far (this one). I was greedy and increased my percentage to 20% :), which is the maximum not to get charged the credit card processing fees.

Adelaide, I tried and I was able to remove your copyright notice by selecting the back of the card and then option Edit. I didn't proceed and save it as I wasn't sure what would that do but it seemed like it would let me do so. It seemed like I could also add it to the card and buy it without the copyright notice. One would think that There should be a way of locking design elements on a product...

I joined the group and made my first loan. Thank you for pointing this out.

One thing for sure is, they are sure beating my sales a BigStock, which RARELY come!
For me too. In fact, if I take into account the length of time I've been selling there, 123rf too.

I am also not sure if we are able to move products from one line to another... I guess it can't be done...
We can do this by editing the product (click "Edit" above the product). There, we select "Change" next to "Seller Product Line" and choose the new product line. I don't think we can have a product in more than one product line in the same time.

To remove purple fringing, the second method described in one of the SS articles has worked for me:

Taking them to court?
For what? They are not doing anything illegal. We can consider their actions unfair, unethical, or similar, but illegal is usually not of of them.

243
Warren, with "big players" I actually meant big stock agencies (Big 6). we should find a way to influence their decisions as more and more of those are done against contributors interests.

244
Great find UncleGene! I would like to believe that you had an EL sale for it.

245
Until/unless we really get serious about forming a trade group to represent our interests we can probably expect more unappealing changes in the future.
I agree. The question is what kind of influence or pressure could this trade group have? To stop uploading? To threaten with portfolio deletion? I see that agreeing to the sort of influence would be very hard as contributors are very diverse.

If this is agreed on anyway, a member of the group could come up with an issue and post a poll where other members would vote for or against. If more than half of the members vote for an issue, all the members would agree to proceed with the action. With could have that even implemented here in the new section "Issues" or "Take action". I think implementation is not an issue but rather agreeing on how to influence decisions of the big players in the industry.

Thank you Lisa.

It seems like there is still no way to see the summary of all the sales. I actually went through all the pages of images to see it.

Oh yes, a friend of mine that went to Santiago de Compostela told me that Galician is something between Portuguese and Spanish. Ok, I know we are way out of topic here by now. :)

When I say fotolia I can only think of the latest comission drop.
About which I was very skeptic at first, but indeed proved positive in earnings and RPD.  Not that I liked the reduction...
I didn't like the reduction either, but it seems like earnings have gone up lately for me too.
