Hi, I have a question : Example, I'm traveling in India, in a remote part of the country where people do not speak English ... they smile at me, want to be photographed. Often, they are also illiterate, so having them sign a realease model causes a problem. I do not do it. It happened to me the same thing in many countries, including China ... I go back home, I have great pictures but no model release ... what are you doing in such a situation?

I sold 4 x 4K video for around 2$ total yeaaaah 
I did a test...
Some of my pics generate a bigger commission than my 4k videos!

My conclusion : No more 4k video on IS

You seem to be doing incredibly well, especially for video. I have never heard of anyone non exclusive doing well with video at istink.
Be aware though, some agencies give you several sales at the beginning as a welcome aboard package at the beginning

Video's are selling incredibly well on istock with download numbers 5-10 X that of shutterstock. Unfortunately the majority of these sell on the Getty side of things under premium access where the average download for HD/4K is under $1. Many are for $0.12. So when you say you have sold 7 videos I wouldn't be half surprised if you receive  $0.84 for the lot of them.
I get hundreds of sales every month on istock/getty where the new normal seems to be royalties in the $0.33 / $0.12 range. The old norm of single royalties in the $100's seem to be disappearing fast.
Getty are just getting more greedy with the Premium Access and I really think they are shooting themselves in the foot. I haven't and many others been uploading there for a while now and soon enough their portfolio will look stale and stagnant (talking about video side of things). I'm non-exclusive BTW

If this is the case for my 7 videos sold, I will do not upload more on IS ... it was just a test.

Seriously Christiano you do realise you make 15% on iStock for images? Often a lot less than it costs to even look up your stats with that outfit.

It would be more interesting to hear how much cash you made on iS to put it in perspective you can then work out how much iS made on your sales

Update : IS refuse edited prores 422 codec made from a third party app on windows... it's accepted only for video edited from a MAC. But, one app do the job on windows 10, it's not winxdvd...

Yes, the solution is very simple: forget about istink for video.
There is absolutely no reason to upload video there, frankly, don;t waste your time on a sinking ship

well, it's not work well... it take 2 minutes to upload to AS and SS... i did the job with winxdvd, ratio are ok, i use the prores 422 hq codec, 3840x2160 (same as the original),  everything seems good... the file is around 1.3 gb, but IS said my file cannot be accepted.
I will surrender and convert my 4k to 1080 HD.

All the others are freeware, they're only do 50% conversion and you have to pay for the full version.
