Shutterstock.com / Re: SS rejections explosion!!!« on: December 18, 2008, 19:19 »
I usualy got accepted almost everything. But today, I got rejected 10 out of 10 in a batch. Reason - dust on subject that I shoot. They were right, there were few dust particles, but not that much...
But it is a good thing. I whish SS raise the bar a lot. I mean, 60.000 new images every week?! No wonder we have low sales. I remember last year, 20.000 new images per week, sales were much better. So I look at tougher standards as a positive thing, not negative at all. 230

I have 4 friends doing microstock, and I never heard such thing as MB is taking a fee for receiving money. Never. Maybe your account is some special kind, or something.

Since I delete those, I noticed I sell a lot more older images, ones that hardly ever sell. Maybe that coincidence, but I am happy with my "new" cleaner portfolio. I am sorry I dont have the time to do the same thing on other sites.
![]() Number of views stayed the same as it was before cleanup. So I dont lack any views. 239

borg, I get payed directly from MB to my Visa card, and payment is without any bank fees (only MB takes 2.4$), and money arrive always in 3 work days. At contrary, when I withdraw on bank account, bank takes about 6$ fee (and MB 2.4$), and it takes a little longer, 4-5 workdays to arrive. So it is best to withdraw from MB directly to Visa card. At least in my bank (Raiffeisen Bank).
And my Visa and bank accounts are separate, two different accounts. Sometimes I withdraw on bank account if it is larger amount (there is limit of 500eur per transaction on Visa!), but if it is less than 500 I withdraw to Visa directly, it arrives in 3 days, and no fees from bank. MB is perfect for me. 241

MB dont charge me anything when I receive the money! When I pull a 100$ from fotolia for example, I get 100 dollars on my MB account, no fee is taken. Only fee is when I try to withdraw, and it is 2.4$, and If I withdraw on my Visa card, my bank dones not take any fees from me. (If I withdraw to bank account, my bank take 6$ for every transaction, but not on Visa card!)
I will stick with MB as long as it is availabe, because it is easy, cheap, and best way to get your money, and use it when I want, and how I want. 242

what about paypal protection program? they can give your money back, if you payed via paypal.
I got over 100 things on ebay (including Canon EF 70-200 f4L IS and Canon EF 100 f2.8 MACRO lenses), without any problems. Only once package was lost and seller gave me refund. 244
Dreamstime.com / Re: Payoneer on DT« on: December 15, 2008, 12:57 »
no, you are wrong. Every time you get cache from ATM machine, they will charge you a fee. When I withdraw money to my Visa card from Moneybookers, in my local bank, I dont pay anything when I buy in shops or take cache on ATM... and I would have to pay a fee every time I use my payoneer master card. I dont want that. It would be better if payoneer coud transfer money to my own local credit card, or bank accout. This way it is like using credit card in different country. Every time you make a purchase somewhere or take a cache on ATM it will charge you 2.15$ if you use payoneer mastercard. MB charges me only 2.4$ per transaction on my Visa card (bank does not take anything), and I can use as often as I like, without any fees.
So, MB takes 2.4$ ONCE! when I do withdraw, and payoneer take 2.15$ EVERY time I cache out on ATM! Plus 3$ per month. MB has clearly smaller fees. 245

useless pretty much. you got to have their Master Card, and cashing in other country than US draws some aditional fees.... and if you dont use that card for 60 days, they close your account. moneybookers is still best solution.

Adobe Stock / Re: deleting ugly images« on: December 14, 2008, 06:47 »
I deleted 1.600 images, which were old and ugly, non selling, with poor views. So I delteted about 17% of my FT portfolio (about 7500 images left), and we will see how this affects my 7 days ranking (which is the best parameter to watch). I havent finished with cleanup, I have about 500 more to delete, but I will make a pause a month or two, so I can monitor my status, and see what happens.
