… P5 resurected after long droughts… I’m still thinking that your experiment is just councidence, because many contributors have seen signs of life on P5… for sure, P5 left as our last hope, with very lively AS…

Pond5 / Re: Dataset earnings - opt out
« on: April 13, 2024, 02:24 »
… on our expense, like ever before…

28
… just keep going and hope to see that treng goes on further… I’m interested to see long term results from your strategy, because at the moment things on stock footage markets are not in our favor…

29
… I’m not anymore sure that it is good to be totally exclusive… my older files do sell better non-exclusivelly spread on all agencies… Pond5 exclusive with newer files and equipment are almost dead silent… at the moment, I have better sales with porfolios where I havent uploaded more than three years and with less files…

… yes, those risks I’m concerned… it is sad that they hold files for 1 one year after you deceide to remove them… if they do not hold all files you have on other places, just move on and be careful next time…

... no no, I haven`t agreed to send my files at all... they contacted me, but I don`t think that it is a good deal to have files there... maybe if they offer front payment per file, or bulk files deal... if deal is fair, you can calculate benefits and risks to post files on free download sites...

... they do that, from time-to-time... it is up to you - haven`t made a deal in my case...

« on: March 04, 2024, 08:59 »
… they are most common on IS and SS, but with sad royalty percentage for us…

36
… since AS oversell everyone else at the moment, there are not worries about this… it is strange that they are doing that good, when I haven’t uploaded there for years…and almost daily on P5 and not being satisfied with sales there… it is not because the prices are high, something else is going on…

37
… should not be offered at all, anywhere… and first of all, not being generated this fast and in this quantities…

… I’m pretty scared, because it is actually pretty good for February… not like it was pre 2019, but for last years averages…

… they are not totally dead, they are doing fine… but not sharing with us, like they did in past…

How much they offer for exclusive portfolio…?! :)

It will be fair to have info of downloaded file resolution, next to sale report on dashboad… contributor will have more data to conclude if it is worth or not to have 4k files online…

You can get that info by downloading the .csv file. The button for this is at the top right when viewing your insights by Activity.
Thanks I do know about that, but now, when there is no difference in buyers perspective, for artist it will be useful to do ‘Subscription HD’ and ‘Subscription 4k’ titles in Dashboard - Activity list…

In my case, strange unexpected Contributor fund received on 26th...

44

Who knows… if for both or video, than AI took advantage of us..

46
There is no problem with sale numbers, but with royalties… sale numbers are almost the same, but royalties are catastrophic, especially this month… ‘contributor fund’ acted as some kind of bonus to balance those sad earnings…

Really low ammount… like they have balanced low sales this month, with just something…

48
Exactly, there is a problem only with a Firefox at he moment...

49
There are even cheaper options for sure, but AS is doing good job lately with footage… is there some easy to implement bridge option to their footage collection in Premiere or something like that…? Something changed and it’s good to see alive stock footage site these days… I’m not talking about ‘good old days’ sales like it was on SS, but there is a good trend…

50
I haven`t uploaded there for three years, I think... and there is a part of mine non-exclusive portfolio... like others mentioned, from late spring days to the end of the summer something changed in good direction... yes, those annoying 2.80$ sales do exist, but 50-70$ can always change bottom line math...
