I've just sent another DMCA notice with more than 20 products listed (original mine and duplicate thief) Let's see how these professionals will answer
with so many copyright lawyers working on provision you are doing big mistake with DMCA. deleting your contest is nothing, you could earn some serious money.

Isn't it in T&Cs that if you offer your clips cheaper elsewhere they can adjust it down to match? May be that if you're selling elsewhere, would explain why your exclusive clips aren't changed?
I do not offer my clips cheaper anywhere, at least not if buying single clips. the thing is, I agree if you sell cheaper that pond5 can go lower to meet that price, all good. But they done it in way no company should done it, without any notification and as well leaving us unaware by keeping price looks normal from contributor portal. all agencies are walking on thin line between legal and illegal business. EU have strict rules for misleading buyers/sellers. that's all from me about that. I doubled my prices so i will see what's going to happen.

pond5 makes price testing since 2/3 years ago...
Yes they did for some selected clips few years ago. Never to whole complete portfolio and by making our prices looks "right" from contributor site but actually complete different. Sneaky and unprofessional.

I only remember a special discount on all items 30 off, but limited for 2 days only.
Could it be that you in the past let pond5 set the prices and after that you set your own prices? So, because of that preset to leave it to pond5 might still active and then indeed they can do whatever they want with your prices - also increase if that time on demand.
My suggestion: Ask the support and send them the file ids. Pond5 usually investigate things very serious and in a good way. The support from them were always great for me.
No, I always set my own prices and never let them decide. Some time ago they changed prices for few my clips and I told them that it should never happen again without letting me know first. Anyone else has this problem? Don't check from your contributor site, they are fine there, check by checking your clips as buyer.

Pond5 have halved prices to all my clips even tho from contributor sites prices looks what i have set them
but when you click individual link all my prices where 50% less. Example I set 120/60 4k/HD prices, but when you check link it's 60/30 for 4k/HD clips.
Other older videos I have set to 99/50, but when I check them, they are 50/25.
Is there some promotion or whatever it is, why are they doing it in that sneaky way?
So, do I need to put them on 240/120 4k/HD to sell them "normal"? anyone know what's going on there?

from 2600+ files eligible for nomination I nominated few just to see if this will affect sales. less then 5 I think.
my much worst problem with adobestock is lack of sales last few weeks after region change (even tho I shoot isolated people not specific to any region)
better get back to good sales of paid files.
but it's also fair if someone think this is good deal... good luck to everyone.

Yes i can see individual files now. Thanks Mat for answer.

Hi Mat
I have 2666 eligible assets but why I can't see what are those
If I can't see those eligible assets I don't want to nominate anything.
Those can be files that earn me much more then 5$ weekly, not yearly so...
Let us see and choose them first, before nomination.

i haven't tried it yet, but the thing that's bother me is, how buyer can know that seller is real owner of the art he is selling?
what if someone stole some stock illustration or photo and sell it as NFT?
then whole that blockchain thing is useless, please explain me if I am wrong?

send them e-mails, adobe always giving "letter" but you can use it for tax return from IRS even it's not a 1042-s document.

I just sent email today to copyright lawyer from my country who works on provision.
Every time I report they just remove portfolio without any compensation to real author, me.
Etsy also made money from someone else theft so they are kind of cooperate in this action
I will let you know what I got
Etsy does nothing and if you complain enough, they will shut down your account. They just want the listing fees. Look at the "rare" coins which are just obvious fraud. Etsy does nothing
Yes, but I don't care what they do or don't. I don't have account there. Just few people there selling my work from stock sites. I will inform if i made any progress with copyright lawyer.

Are you earning <$250 gross from them in a year?
for 2020 total revenue was 331 usd gross (my part was ofcorse lower) for this year it's 72 gross the moment I drop from 40 to 20 they will not have right to sell my copyrighted content.

The European Commission said the tech giant was in breach of its rules by charging high commission fees in its App Store.
Could this be the thin end of the wedge, and help the Microstock creative sector fight back against the likes of Shutterstock and Getty.
Yeah, fight while ignoring the law of unintended consequences, which is teaching us that a potential royalty increase, definitely passed on to end-consumers, will lead to a price increase, then to a reduction in sales, and very likely, to a global earning reduction.
So... as they say, be careful what you wish for...
I know many owner and employees from graphic and web design companies, and even here east Europe, never ever one of them complained about how expensive photos/vectors are. They do go for cheaper sites if they find out about them, but only if those are same or similar quality, and those people in marketing/web/graphic design companies do know the difference.

this is as wrong as Sean is wrong in naming the user H2O by the wrong name.
Did I? They ( or their twin ) is posting the exact same thing on FB including the same wording about retroactive.

I am NOT that person, you are just wrong, I'm not even sure why you would say such a thing.
Sure this Nikola has posted something similar, other people are allowed to have the same thoughts, indeed one can often see virtually the same photo on Microstock sites.
Don't even try to explain anyone here anything, time waste and pointless. Shortsight is only word that can describe here. Btw we are twins if you didn't know that.

.... This will also drastically reduce the demand since fewer customers will be able to afford the new prices....
this is as wrong as Sean is wrong in naming the user H2O by the wrong name.
web design companies have no problem with photo prices at all nor do they insist on cheaper ones. they charge it most often from the customer's design anyway. nor does anyone go bankrupt because of the high prices of photos on the internet.
but I see that you are accustomed to this wild west and the real question is whether you should be paid more at all when you think you are worth less.
I 'did the math' and even for every contributor at SS to just earn minimum wage (and SS to earn the same as they are now), then SS would either have to increase their customer base by 100 times, or keep their customer numbers the same and increase their revenue per customer by 100 times. I.E. their $1,999 per year subscription would then become their $199,900 a year subscription.
Do you really think these web design companies would have no problem at all with such prices?
Bottom line... Sean is right.
Minimum wage? who mentions any minimum wages? you are completely lost. but this is the internet, trolls are all around us. no worries, I understand. What I mentioned are the greater rights of copyright authors. where they are sold, whether other people's copyrights are shared for free, whether anyone uses photos and illustrations without paying, etc. 10 years ago, istock had prices that would still be acceptable for most companies today. Im not talking about the times of macro stock when 5 people in town had a camera and you could sell it at the price you wanted. it is a long-forgotten past. mentions streaming music services, try playing music in a cafe through such services for personal use or playing Netflix movies in public like in a movie theater so I can see if you get a fine. there is a lot of misunderstanding of the basics here. confusion of non-commercial and commercial use. I have said mine many times, I will remind you in year two on this topic. just that much. Sean publicly shares someones personal information (although he mistakenly says its h2o) against his will which is also punishable by law. but that is now really all of me on this subject. about 100 years ago people laughed at workers demanding paid annual leave. imagine, they dont work and someone pays them for it. yesterday they laughed at the uber workers, today they laugh at the fact that the creators of copyright works demand greater rights to their works, that without their knowledge they are not distributed for free, and the same creators of copyright works laugh at them. no wonder we are where we are.
