In the UK we are off work on Friday and Monday for Easter, then on Friday 26th for the Royal wedding, (it is a public holiday), then on Monday 2nd May for May day Bank holiday. A lot of people are taking next week off because you only need to use 3 of your holiday days, and you are off work for 11 days!

When I first started using Photoshop I was told not to overdo the filters and colour adjustments. Maybe that was bad advice, he is doing well out of it!

The first thing to check if you are not getting views is your key-wording. That is how customers find your pictures in the first place.

I have a few rubber lens hoods that work in this situation. They both protect the lens and stop glare. I got them for shooting through glass cages and fish tanks. I bought mine some years ago from Jessops in the UK. Be very careful not to restrict the movement of a zoom lens as you are close to the glass, it can cause damage. http://www.jessops.com/Directory/catalogue.ashx/$s=rubber%20lens%20hoodI cannot get the link to work, just search the site!

I feel a bit sick. All those wooyays are hard to stomach before breakfast!
It is incredible to think that they have been putting resources into this that could have been better used to fix the site. They are not going to sell much if the buyers cannot find anything.

Somebody really likes your images! Canstock sales have plummeted for me. They were good last summer, but have declined to next to nothing now.

I applied last June, still waiting! I can take a hint.

Well I didn't sell that card, but my sales for the day were about 10 times normal! It must have drawn people to look at my shop and buy. I like it!

When I go back to edit my products in Zazzle I find that they keywords all have a plus sign between then, as though they are one big phrase. It takes me ages to edit them all to remove the pluses. Does anyone know why this happens, and if it affects searches?

Still waiting to be a contributor !? Long wait so far !!
+1 since last June. Any ideas on when the doors will open to let a few more of us in or will that happen after the marketing drive you mentioned? Thanks.
+1. I know when I am not wanted!

Some 3d. and rasters. I had a dabble at vectors a while ago, and they have sold quite well, but they take too long to do.

Just had another sale on Zazzle. That's 3 sales in my first two weeks. It was my "Born to Storm Chase" bumper sticker with a vector storm illustration of mine. Here is the link if you would like to see it:

+ I gave you a 6 rating. I don't know if ratings affect search placement. Maybe we should have a ratings thread like we used to have for StockXpert.

Donding,
Your basic keywords are as for stock, but you need to add details of the product too, such as birthday card, etc.
I have been disappointed with sales on Zazzle. They are nowhere near what I had hoped, but every little helps I suppose. I have had some best of the day awards, but they didn't help sales.

Huh? I don't know where you live but in the south of England (and I don't mean London or even commuting distance to it) the prices are mostly far higher.
I am in the North. It is much cheaper to live here, but there is not much work about to pay for it! My son has just rented a house, he moved in before Christmas and he is paying 425 per month. About average round here. The price for buying a house is much less too. I am judging the price of a pint from a poster outside a local pub, I don't actually drink them myself. It is a real ale pub, so I expect it is a good pint. The coffee I buy in a small privately owned cafe near where I work. They do a great lunch!

I just found out that there is unusually lot of views of my products (invitation cards) with New Year 2011 motive. I didn't why when it's obviously too late to order them but I'm afraid that I found out - small previews contain no watermark. I'm afraid that people download them and send them via email with their best wishes. I have no other explanation :-/
Back to topic - Zazzle is my second best earner...
You get huge spikes in views when the bots are crawling over you stuff in order to index them for the search engines. It's a good thing!

Watching iStock is like watching a car crash in slow motion. Bits are breaking off and going in all directions. The driver is smiling confidently and assuring his passengers that all is well, and the mechanics are working on it!

I wrote Santa asking for a new tripod and guess what? There is a long package under my tree.
That sounds promising! I wanted a polarizing filter, and I got one!! That Santa is a great bloke.

I deactivated my account when they were having trouble meeting payments. I was wondering if it was worth reactivating it, but I guess not!

I didn't realize this site would delete my mild reference to a device to hold back water!
