I guess this little tiny link makes serious difference, especially at SS and IS (on both direct, and SEO level, in the end you're getting links from top ranked sites)
but is it against their rules/policy? do you guys put links to your marketplace in your profile at SS & IS?
I don't wanna play risky games!

Yup, the Standard search sucks, I mention that to the IT company working on my "CSS", they said there's an another way around (some sort of professional search script you can buy and install) but I'm not sure how much it'll cost! (probably more than the Script itself) anyway, I'll post "my solution" once we reach that part of our site.

Very SLOW moth for me too, (SS only)
I don't think it's normal, the market doesn't act like that, there's always a margin(up and down).. anything outside that margin isn't normal,
last month sales were way above it and this one are way below it, it can't be a coincidence.

Hi everyone,

I can verify that it was a legitimate email. Estrel is a member of our Content Acquisition team.

If you prefer to send via FTP it's no problem for us. Just let us know that it's sitting in your FTP folder and let us know by return email.

Our IT team can then retrieve it and replace it thereafter.

Sometimes the EPS is corrupted during processing or the transfer of files, or perhaps during transfer via FTP there might be a glitch.

So from time to time as and when we discover problems, we do ask for original files via email to avoid getting them re-processed by mistake.

But as I said before, if you're not comfortable with email, please FTP it up into our FTP server and we'll take it from there on.

Thank you,

Alex.

it's not the "How to send the file" that concerned me, it was the email itself, anyway thanks for verifying it Alex I'll contact you soon,

I Believe IT'S SCAM (THE PROFESSIONAL SCARY TYPE)
how? Well I'm registered at 123rf.com with the Email "A at xxx.com" however I'm setting that email address to forward all my emails to "B at xxx.com" (for security purposes)
so basically if it was 123rf.com it should have emailed me at A at xxx.com (the email they have in their database/record)  and not "B at xxx.com"  the other one I use for day to day stuff!
or perhaps it's me!

Why would you think this is a scam if the recipient has a @123rf.com adress? What would the scammer benefit from this?

and why would a big stock agency ask a contributor to send one file BY EMAIL!!

32
Sorry my Bad, Yes @123rf.com

Hi guys,
did this happen to you before? I sent them a reply explaining that We "Contributors"  ::) don't send our precious work by Email just because someone managed to add the @123rf.com after his/her email address and I re-uploaded the file and sent them link, yet they said that the new file is also corrupted, I checked, Double checked, nothing! everything looks okay!
is this scam?

here's a copy of the email I got:

Dear contributor,

We'd like to request you to resend image http://www.123rf.com/photo_xxxx  again as the EPS file image is corrupted.

Do get back to us as soon as possible as a client is interested in it.

*Kindly ZIP and ATTACH the file to us through email.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Estrel

Best regards, always!

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock IPO Pricing Revealed

Interesting. I see the Reuters notice points out that the initial 'value' is not particularly significant in the way that these things work;

"The amount of money a company says it will raise in its first filing is used to calculate registration fees and is often a placeholder, with the actual proceeds being different."

Interview below from 'The Verge' with Shutterstock's SVP, Dan McCormick, on the IPO offering and the latest search technology that they're working on;

don't do it.. both ways.. we're artists not investors

DA should've started this a long time ago..
anyways, the only down side I see is their points system
So what do you think?
