I agree with souper, not there yet. Got some more downloads than lasy months, but search engine is still a mess: "new york yellow" brings up only 58 files and if I search just "new york" on italian site I got 0 results: I have to translate "new" in italian to get some results (mostly unrelated). This is depressing.

I'm at LO since july, 650+ photos online and 15 downloads. With tags in the exif and their great upload system it's worth the effort anyway, I like the site as anyone else and as anyone else I want to believe things will pick up speed eventually. Well done Bryan.

As usual I forgot to check the dates when posting Congrats for that picture, Tom, anyway I'm more and more puzzled about IS reviews. As for artifacting I can just try to downsample the images, but it's soooo time consuming (and boring) to resubmit. It's their right to push exclusivity, but it's getting annoying now.

I'm also going mad with IS, they are rejecting more than 50% of my images because they contain "artifacting". May be I just haven't understood what artifacting is, but my workflow is such that I shouldn't have much noise/compression issues/jaggies etc, in fact my pictures are accepted on the other sites and especially on SS, where these aspects can be an issue. I don't know what to do, is there anybody else dealing with this problem?

Anybody else getting pages and pages of e.mail notifications from Fotolia? I think that they must have had a backlog and are sending them all out at once.
Yep, me too, about all the sales from 30/7 till yesterday. At least the email content was correct. This is just crazy, I still can't believe how they managed to do this disaster.

I've always used the .com version of the site and keyworded in english, what makes me worry are the suspicious zero results searches. Something must be wrong with the site engine.

I'm in IT and I just can believe that so long after the so-called upgrade search is still not working and the site is still experimenting glitches day after day. I've seen a definite drop in sales and I'm no surprised at all about it.

Yep, the same happened to me today, wrote support yesterday, got email today saying that 8 where ok, so my submission was approved and my account activated. Berryspun & all: thanks a lot for the info, I would have ended up waiting one month in doubt. And it was great doing 8/10 on my first submission ever, ssssweet! Or, well, may be they just lowered standards Thanks again!

Hello, newbie here, just subscribed to a couple sites, got some pictures up in Fotolia, on the queue with DT and IS and tried Shutterstock too (maybe a little too soon). So got my first rejection in SS, now I was trying to understand which ones they liked (most of the initial 10 photos were ok for FT, so maybe...). I've been very careful about noise, ran noiseninja on all pictures and even downsampled some. I've got 1 rejected for limited commercial value and 1 for lighting, but the remaining 8 were rejected with "7 of 10 must be approved" without any other reason, is it just normal? Well, retrying in a month, maybe with a completely different batch with photos approved on the other sites.
