Not working for 123rf says earnings are much higher than they are and nothing happens when you click the icon - was a bit disappointed when I went to check

Bad news, I think many will be looking at alternative software.

Not noticed anything different yet with regards to sales, I'm in the UK.

It is true, I agree.
But one question: does somebody oblige you to upload your images on these sites? If you don't want to feel sick just don't do it!
I know, I was being tongue in cheek but on a more serious note it's hard to see where the industry is heading when images are offered so cheaply and surely it must be devaluing them in the long term.

Every time I give away sell an image for 25c, 33c, 8c ...or for whatever ridiculously low subscription price I feel slightly sick, as this happens frequently throughout the day I'm beginning to think that stock photography is making me ill

In 3 months I've only had 7 sales but have reached payout, so much better to sell less for more I think

Has anyone been invited to join this, what do you think ? Sounds great but you you don't get paid - doesn't anyone want to buy photos any more Project Weather is a new Flickr group where Yahoo! will feature your stunning photos on the Yahoo! Weather mobile app. Your photography will be showcased along with your Flickr screen name and a link to each photo on Flickr, bringing a global audience to your photostream ....

The server cannot open connection in active mode. If the problem persists, consider switching to passive mode. Could not retrieve directory listing Unable to establish the data connection

Beppe - ftp isn't working for me either, not sure if it's my isp or not but if I do a traceroute the ftp it just times out.
Some bugs: The 'save these as your personal sale options' doesn't save in IE or Firefox and the form below it stretches to the right off of the page. The title & description doesn't match IPTC meta - description comes out as title and title doesn't import.

I think it's a great idea, especially useful for travel related businesses. Am having a problem with the ftp though, it won't log me in.

It would be fantastic if there was just title, description and keywords all matching IPTC so you could just upload and not have to fill anything in or have to copy and paste it from one field to another. Another bonus would be if it was cookied to remember stuff from last time i.e. licence type, digitally altered etc.

Yes having exact same issue also using outlook, I think it's the way they've coded their emails.

Not nearly enough either, my monthly downloads are going up but the price per image is going down, hopefully it'll even out over the year.

I really like it, nice to see more artsy stuff and less traditional stock.

My favourite was being asked for a property/model release of a tree next to a stream, not sure which needed the release but I was tempted to upload one with a leaf print for a signature.

OVH is good, but you need to manage server yourself.

I only had a tiny portfolio with them which was looking to be quite a nice earner if I'd stayed long enough to build it up but I've deactivated already. Getty have proven that they cannot be trusted and only care about their own profit, the feeble 'updates' they've produced in the last few weeks are nothing more than spin, they're definitely not interested in negotiating.

We are also working hard to make your content available to new customers in new uses... I think this part of their statement says it all - time to leave.

Istock have posted an update about google & microsft deals here: http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=351105&page=1Google Drive
Once again, we'd like to thank you for your continued patience. To reiterate from previous posts, royalties have been paid in connection with the Google Drive usage based on all consideration received by Getty Images under the licensing agreement. We understand your concerns relating to the deal and we are making progress in a productive dialogue with Google about these concerns and potential solutions. As many of you have pointed out Google is a big company, much bigger than Getty Images, and coordinating across the teams there that will help with any modifications is taking longer than we might have hoped, but things are still proceeding.
Microsoft
Based on your concerns, we have also been working with Microsoft over the past several months to bring resolution to the license that was set up in 2007. Over the next 60 days all imagery licensed as part of this promotional arrangement will be removed from the online version of Microsoft Office. Keep in mind though that all licenses that were granted by Microsoft prior to the removal of the content remain valid licenses under the terms of the Microsoft EULA. As previously explained, if you see instances where your content is being used without or contrary to the iStock or Microsoft license terms, please let us know at [email protected].
Our contributors are extremely important to us. We take very seriously our obligation of representing your creative work. While every deal is not perfect out of the gate, we strive to license your content in a financially beneficial manner and believe we largely succeed in this effort across the millions of customers and transactions completed each year. We are also working hard to make your content available to new customers in new uses through investments in marketing, technology and new business models. At the same time, we are investing heavily in technology, education and industry efforts to protect your copyrighted work and license your content responsibly.
Thanks again for your time, patience and constructive feedback.

Is it just getty/istock that have given away images to google or are other stock agencies involved? If there are any others perhaps there should be a sticky list so that we can avoid them.
