All this time wielding gimballs, covering logos with duct tape, tormented by editing and rendering... thanks to the sites that have dumped prices and the contributors that have gone to sites with unlimited downloads I'll go back to just doing easy photos because the difference paid is not worth the effort. I hate making videos and this is the excuse I needed.

Yes...but...
If you make designs of nuclear explosions and Russian flags you will be able to recover the loss of sales... jokes outside... this situation scares me but this is a business and I understand that you are worried about the economy... as you can see that too the economy worries NATO states that have not imposed and all the sanctions that they could. Brasilnut, you are working for news. your difference with other reporters is that you are not guaranteed to sell the photos. I don't think you are doing anything wrong.

For me the number of sales remains stable and it is not so much the problem... the problem I see is very few S.O fat sales this year and a worrying subscription trend. Despite already having a level 4, On demand has fallen below the old fixed 2.85.
Adobe beats Shutter in my case because of how badly shutter does it and not because Adobe improves, because I also see the lower sales.

Looks like Yuri isn't exclusive anymore or has made some weird deal with istock. It seems that Yuri Arcirs is uploading images to Dreamstime. It is not an old abandoned portfolio, it is new uploads, today 10,000 photos and 21 sales What a disappointment when he upload it again to shutterstock. https://www.dreamstime.com/peopleimages_info

my fuji gives me a lot of problems with Noise-artifacts on shutterstock, I think a big sensor is good if you want to sell on hateful sites that pay little and demand a lot as a shutter

The shutter thing is demotivating, maybe my income has only dropped 20% and surely istock's royalties are worse but this situation is very demotivating. Psychologically I take less stock photos and spend much less money. I will continue doing stock photos because I like it but in the end I will get bored

nikon d750 and nikor 58 1.4 and 20 1.8 and sigma 35 1.4 art for scheduled sessions.
Fujifilm xt-2 and fujifilm xe-1 with fujinon 18 f2 and 23 f2 and 35 1.4. for vacations, carry and emergency bodies.
My favorite camera is the xe-1, because it is small and versatile. Photos made with them have been sold in offset for up to $10,000.
My favorite lens is the nikor 58 1.4, it's not the sharpest but it gives a very nice weird feeling.
The way the underpaid market is, I don't renew the photographic equipment until it bursts

I closed my account with that mob a long time ago, it took them 3 months to remove the photos from getty and they did not pay me the sales I had during that transition. Eyeem is a bad collection with a bad percentage in an agency that already directly offers a low percentage. I feel like eyeem stole me

The previous owner of Photaki closed the agency and left the contributors unpaid for sales. Then he opened freepik and this agency looks like a pyramid scam. During this time, people comment that they have lowered the gain per download from 0.10 to 0.07 dollars. If you divide 0.33 dollars a day (10 dollars / 30 days) that the unlimited program costs, you get that to maintain those gains the average user should not download more than 1-2 photos a day so that those commissions are adjusted to reality. If you divide those 0.33 dollars between 100 maximum downloads, it is 0.0033 to divide between agency and contributor, so it is evident that Freepik may be hiding sales, although I do not know the total numbers, I do not trust those people. I think their goal was to run for a while to be sold. In Spanish: "Pegar el pelotazo"

Hi Matt, today I wanted to review the free image screen that I chose, and when sorting them by "eligible for free collection" all of a sudden they were marked as free again. The images selection have already been reset twice. They should give some saving option so as not to lose time with this,

I don't understand why peoples total month earnings are down from 1 year ago unless they just have the same image quantity as a year ago. I only upload 25 images a week but am $100 up this month from a year ago and only submit to the 5 main agencies. As long as I keep adding photos my earning increase. iStock non exclusive giving me double of Adobe and Shutterstock.
Young rookie, you'll soon meet the wall!

I propose that you limit the maximum number of downloads to 10 photos per day, 2 videos, 5 illustrations ... and add 1 extra free per photo purchased with real money
