Alamy is doing pretty good over here with a small < 500 portfolio, compared to some other agencies in which my portfolio is triple the size.

My experiences are:
1. Fotolia: around 24 hours
2. Bigstock: around 24 hours
3. Shutterstock: around 48 hours
4. Alamy: around 4 days
5. 123RF: around 5 days
6. Dreamstime: around 14 days (!)

Last quarter my sales were down with 33% compared to 2010 (!) with a portfolio almost 5 times bigger in 2014.
