I agree with ShadySue, some people have a career that's totally unconnected to photography or illustration. And when you apply for jobs, you don't want your future boss google your name and find your travel photographs, or funny doodle backgrounds, or icons, no matter how great they are.

Also, depending on the country you're from, your name might sound strange or complicated to others - then a pseudonym or memorable username might be better.

Vector files have an .eps extension.
It would be wonderful if there was a way to upload vectors to multiple agencies at once!! (+ would that include keywording? that would be even better!!)

Thank you so much everybody for your input. I was really close to re-joining Depositphotos when I received the email (I guess I was flattered that they contacted me). Glad that I asked for advice and I will simply not bother now.

Two days ago I received an email by Depositphotos, "waiting to establish prosperous and effective cooperation" with me. I assume that they found me through Shutterstock or Fotolia, where I have a link to my website with my contact details.
I'm a newby, I started with Microstock at the beginning of this year, I do vector illustrations. I had joined Depositphotos in March but only earned $0.44 the following month. I didn't want to accumulate income that I can never withdraw due to low earnings, so I de-activated all images.

Ignore their email or give them another chance? What's your experience with Depositphotos, especially with vectors? Has anybody ever joined after an invitation? (they promise to promote my stuff, will they really?). I read some posts here of people hesitating to join, so I would like some more opinions.

Moreover I thought about joining 123RF, since they appear to be in the "middle tier". Worth it? (I'm currently on SS, IStock, Dreamstime, Fotolia and Creative Market)

Really? I didn't know that. I have always tried to avoid transparency, I thought that it's not compatible with the required EPS format. Being able to use transparency would make my life a lot easier!!

It was saved as an EPS 8 file. So definitely no transparency possible. I am just really confused that IStock and Fotolia didn't notice. Maybe I'll delete and resubmit the file, I don't wanna sell bad quality vectors. I hope they'll accept self-deleted and re-submitted images 

I recently uploaded a vector image to Shutterstock, Fotolia and IStock. I use Inkscape to create my vectors, therefore I cannot check my files in Illustrator. Shutterstock rejected the image, saying "no bitmaps allowed", and after carefully screening the whole image, I found a small section in which I had accidently used transparency, which was likely the cause for the rejection.

To my big surprise, the same file was accepted by Fotolia and Istock. I am a little confused, I mean either my file contains bitmaps or not??? Should I resubmit the corrected file to Fotolia and IStock? Is it actually possible to replace an already accepted image?

It didn't take long to get accepted by Creative Market, I think less than a week, definitely not longer than one week.

A customer on CM contacted me for an extended commercial license, now I am reading licenses by different users, trying to figure out how much to charge and what my conditions could be. And everybody has totally different licenses. I hate licensing 

I recently got accepted to CM as a seller (yay!), but I am confused about how to set my prices. I am new to the design business, I have done it as a hobby for years but now want to sell professionally.

I agree that a lot of people on CM have ridiculously low prices. But how do you set the prices for your images? Per hour of work? Per perceived value? And how much per hour (or whatever your criteria is) is reasonable? I don't want to underprice my work, but also fear that nobody buys anything if my prices are too high.

And maybe I should ditch the bundles/sets?! Or make them smaller? I just created them cuz everybody does
