Hi Mat, are the batches of each individual user examined or is the review done by file number?

Hello everyone, I am thinking of expanding my portfolio through the use of models but I have not the faintest idea of how to establish the remuneration to be proposed or understand if the offers that are made to me are too high.
I would like to ask those who already work with models if it is possible to have some idea on the remuneration to start orienting myself.
Thank you!

« on: September 16, 2020, 10:06 »
I have a problem uploading files today: the file seems to be correctly uploaded but then it doesn't appear in the "under revision" page, but it still remain in the "new files" page, ready to be submitted.
Anybody else with this problem?

Thank you

Yes, we are sorry for the inconvenience. There was a temporary issue with uploads last night, it was quickly identified and corrected so everything is functioning normally now. You will need to re-upload and re-submit the files that didn't go through originally.

Thanks for your patience,

Mat Hayward

Thank you Mat!

Same for me.

Hi all, I have 3 questions about Canva:

- Is it possible to know the rejection reason for my images (I can only see an (S) but I can't find anywhere what it stands for)?
- On my profile page just appeared a slider that say: 200mb storage space available, upgrade to canva pro to obtain more storage space. Does this mean that I have to purchase a Pro account to submit more file to sell?
- Is there a way to delete rejected files (I can see them in my Portfolio page where they have two buttons [edit and deactivate], but they do nothing apparently] and empty some space?

Thank you!

My June sales are not affected by this increase. Still $ 0.35 or $ 2.00

Unlucky situations could turn in earning occasion if you are a stock photographer.
In this short video, I show some photos I took in those situations, and I hope this could be helpful to somebody to find some future inspiration.

one image I don't get/understand is - the white block that is partially broken off? first of all, what is that? and second, I don't quite understand why someone would buy that? (the other images make sense to me - but that one - maybe because I don't know what it is, don't know why someone would want it?)

It seemed like a block of yeast to me, which is used for baking, baking bread, etc. I know that in some countries people bought all of the yeast in supermarkets (fearing shortage, just like with toiletpaper), so it might be because of this. Just a guess, though.  :D

You've guessed right! :D

thanks for sharing, makes sense for most of the images...

It's a block of brewer's yeast. During the lockdown here in Italy it became really difficult to find, so while making some bread at home I took a photo of it (a couple actually, but this is the one that sold the most).

After 54 days of quarantine (here in Italy it started on March 12th), I thought of making a small video with some of the photos I took during this period and which obtained a fair number of sales in the various agencies.
I hope you enjoy it.
Greetings from Tuscany!

I don't think they accept editorial images of any type, unless they have changed their policies recently

Steve

Thank you, Steve!

I'm new to Canva and as I can't find a checkbox to upload as editorial, I don't understand if they accept this kind of photos.
