Please "don't try this at home", standing in one and same place is much worse than sitting! The solution is carry on as you doing your computer works, but a while go outside for a walk, perhaps you got one image more, if you take camera with you BR, Kalevi

Happy birthday Kalevitamm! sorry for your rejection, i hope you're not going to throw the towel!
No, I need a towel for my tears And many thanks to everyone for birthday congratulations! Its not a big deal, as foregoing downfall for me in micro-stock I have tried out to sell some prints with traditional framing, and after all this endless seeming digital world, images on paper feels so good. I recommend to everyone to try out this too, believe me, for a change this activity have a nice touch and feels enjoyable, and by the way, for me selling some framed set I earned quite much more than during whole year in stock. Have a nice weekend, Kalevi

Yesterday I uploaded about 150 pics and got the "We really like your art and you've been promoted as a featured gallery on Crated!" email.
All of my work is available to buy but not all of it is available in the search. Maybe it takes a while but I'm getting the idea there are three tiers. You get in with the approved email, then they pick which stuff shows up in the search, and from those they pick which stuff shows up in the "Curated" area.
Anybody else seeing this or is all of your work showing up in the search?
Hi Paulie, I have experience, that after upload it takes some time once images are available in the search. By the way there is just opened new feature to create your own gallery sets ( https://crated.com/account/galleries). BR, http://crated.com/kalevitamm

Still the slowest site on Earth.

500px needs to give us something like other agencies are offering, ie, free platform to sell the images. I just uploaded some of my images and was hit by 20 images per week counter. The upgrade page is asking for money. Having no stats of success or failure of 500px, I do not know whether there is break even point. There are two things 500px can do.
1. Make completely free for photographers to upload the images. 2. Review the images for Prime section and filter them to market.
Unless I see people eating expensive lunch, I am not motivated to try it. At present, only people from 500px staff may be having some fun.
Very good points! If it'll help you submit your images to Prime, I'd be happy to give you unlimited uploads on your account. Can you email and mention this forum, and I'll do that for you. Thanks!
Hi Alex, your site looks great, you have done an excellent work, and I am ready to pay(support your work) that my images get over to Prime, unfortunately I cant get where or in which step I should do it, should I just upgrade to plus or awesome and that it? Thanks, Kalevi

You can have content that was previously on other sites as long as it is deleted. You can still sell POD.
Hi, what is POD or POD sites? Thanks, Kalevi

How can I change prices for my prints? It's cheapest in all POD sited around. Btw. I must admit I don't understand it - I was told I have to wait for curator but my images are on sale from start...
Hi Ariene, go to: https://crated.com/account/pricing. There you can set (increase or decrease) your prices for entire portfolio (this effects only for new uploads). or go to: https://crated.com/account > select My Art > Select image for edit > image details open > below is Set your products and pricing for this piece > there you can increase or decrease your prices for every image individually. Enjoy, Kalevi P.S. there are not final prices but you can set Markup (%).

Do not play games or make assumptions. Contact support.
No, I don't planning any games, I will contact to support and hold down upload somewhere where until things are clear with iStock. Just asking, perhaps there is some other faster way to clear this issue than contact to support where from answer may take 2 month. Thanks, Kalevi

Funny thing, how the bugs always work for istock.
The important part, the legal part, is that you can prove you have sent them notice.
Do you have a screenshot of anything that proves the date? Then save it. Send them a letter, the type that is signed when it is recieved. "I hereby (date) terminate my exclusivity with istock)"
If so, you are free to go and feel free in a free way.
Yes, I have a screenshot, but without visible date on image, only in file information when shot was made. I guess it should be ok? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14852230/IS.%20Screen%20Shot%202014-04-11%20at%2016.04.06%20PM.pngFile info: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14852230/iS%20file%20info.png

Hi, how to get off from iStock exclusivity? I have deactivated my exclusivity in April 11, 2014. Then, I get Congratulations from iStock, that administrators have RE-activated my exclusivity application?! Today I have looked my status, and I am still exclusive contributor there Perhaps I should create a ticket, but the answer will takes another 1-2 month if ever. Does anyone know how to get off from iStock exclusivity? Thank you for advice, Kalevi

Wonderful galleries! When you uploaded your work, did you upsized images by yourself to reach "extra large" print size over 100 cm (40") or it is done by system?
Thanks,
Kalevi

Hi Kayann and all others,
I have just made a same move, dropped iStock exclusivity, actually I would like to close my account there completely, but I don't know where to join, as I am in bit different situation, at the moment I'm able to take only black and white images and I know this is not successful in regular microstock sites, what I should do or where to join?
Here is my port: kalevitamm.com
Thanks,
Kalevi

It will be nice to see, what stockers have been uploaded there. Will you share your 500px.com/address? (if this kind of sharing is allowed here).

No worries, Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), its the US equivalent of the identification number used by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the administration of tax laws.
An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number only available for certain nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who cannot get a Social Security Number.
http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/International-Taxpayers/Taxpayer-Identification-Numbers-(TIN)#itin
You need one as a non US citizen to sell stuff in the USA.
Ohh, looks complicated in first glance. However, Ron, thanks for a detailed info. Kalevi

Sorry for my incompetent, but what is an ITIN number, is it something like VAT number?
Thanks,
