Just solved that problem I just deleted all my images on Picfart and closed the account.

Did the same for Fine fart murica too  ;D

27
A useless outfit that sells next to nothing.  They make their money selling Picfair Plus

90 per year to pay for that rip off and I've only ever made $40 US out of them in four years.

I'll close the account, one less crap stock agency to worry about  ::)

28
I just had a look and, right now, it looks like everything is still going into the regular stock catalog. I don't see any option to view a 'data catalog'.

"Starting next week, Shutterstock will be introducing Data Licensing"

Starting next week shitterstock will be shafting their contributors even more  ;D

My payable earnings shot up by $47 overnight with no new sales showing, could this be a payment for training AI usage as at Shutterstock maybe?

Of course it is ~ and I got $17

Judas got 30 pieces of silver which is slightly more  ;D

30
You'll get GIGO an old computing term "garbage in garbage out"  ;D

31
"Tossers" indeed also wankers, dickheads, and a lot of derogatory I could post but can't be bothered, just like I can't be bothered about oringer and his crew of fools  ;D

Tell us how those prayers go when Adobe send you "exciting news"  ;D

Off Topic / Re: Stop talking politics!

This is no place for political discussions of any kind.

Oh really? Who made you the internet police?  ;D

Any way "Donald Trump walks into a bar & orders a drink. Once he finishes drinking it he gets up and starts to leave. Bartender says "Hey, aren't you gonna pay for that?!"
Trump shrugs and replies "I'm a little short handed."  ;D

I had a lot of success with a small port of archival type images on Alamy they produce more earnings than my normal RM/RF stock shots.

Though agree PA/Alamy are a joke now with their stupid pricing system and ridiculous extended payment terms.

As for shitterstock I'm lucky if I get over $60 per month now.

Still making lots more money working as an unqualified classroom assistant in schools.

Haven't picked up a camera in three months now  ;D

I was going to comment but then I realized I no longer care what those corporate goof balls do any more.

 ::) ;D

36
At least they didn't use the phrase "Exciting News!!!"  ;D

37
We can only hope and pray that shitterstock goes bust and takes Oringers fortune with it.

This would be hilarious  ;D

38
The quick and simple answer is No, Nope, Nada, Niet, Nein  ;D

Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

39
Stop working on Microstock and doing something else...

I quadrupled my income by ditching the microstock treadmill of "exciting news" and keeping shitterstock in their Empire State pad.

Simple I got a proper job. ;D

Alamy.com / Re: Is Alamy off line today?
« on: April 26, 2023, 23:57 »
Anyway back to the thread  ::)

Alamy is offline this morning just getting HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

41
Personally the judges must have been pretty dense not to notice the oddness of this "picture" I spotted AI before I even read the article.

42
I had two video clips downloaded under DP's subscriber share model and earned a whole 7 Cents.

Then pull out of the "subscriber share model " its a joke  :(

43
My monthly earnings used to be around $750 a month with a high point of $1,000 in 2018, then...

Envato scrapped the contributor bonus
Shitterstock cut rates
Alamy cut rates and sale prices
All the smaller agencies effectively died.

So now I'm lucky if I make $300 per month.

I gave up you can't fight against these f**kers and got agency work in schools/education and now make enough to get by.

Of course the plandemic didn't help and the subsequent putin krap has really screwed things, plus rampant inflation.

Image thieves, idiots who think everything should be free etc.

Then there's AI generated images now competing against traditional photography.

So in my view this is no longer a game worth playing.  :-\

If you ever needed proof these so-called agencies are as Obi-Wan would say

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious"

45
Its more likely that the vector design was too similar to an existing actual vehicle design

46
I haven't looked at this POS since they launched it.  ;D

Bunch of idiots in the empire state

Some ideas in this hard days in stock photo and video business https://youtu.be/9ekXrvHYXG8
Shoot models, and you will not have to invent and invent anything.

Surely its not necessary to shoot the models isn't it against the law?  ;D

50
I've got a great idea for stock ~ give up and get a proper job that actually pays real money instead  ;D
