Why do all of you people care about the way Lione, or anyone else, keywords their images?

Say Gregor909 the Istock contract is non-exclusive that means we can sell our images anyother way we can. Istock has to know that this is going on. Personally I feel that part of the mircostock service to me, as a photographer, is advertising my photography as well as selling my images. I have made quite a few "outside" sales because my images are on microstock sites.

If I were you I would find out what size file he needs and what he is going to do with the images. See if he will pay you by paypal and if you can send the images to him by ftp. Do not upload anything until after he pays you. Insist as part of the payment he credit you or your web site every time he uses one of the images and if he is going to print the images insist that he send you at least 2 copies of the printed material, make sure this is in the invoice. You already know that he wants your images so hit him with a price that is good for you (don't worry about the istock price). All you have to loose is the time it will take to send an e-mail, if you don't like his reply then tell him no. You might be able to make some money for 10 minutes of uploading. When he credits you or your web site then you have the chance to make more sales in the future. Your images are already on Istock so anyone can already download them and send them to their friends so don't worry about that either.

Please take this as constructive criticism.
1. Why did you shoot just the bottom of the waterfall? This is the best of the bunch. Next time get rid of the out of focus leaves on the right side of the picture, they are distracting. 2. The picture of the ocean and coastline was exposed at the wrong time of day, landscapes look better with side light not top light. Try shooting in the early morning and late evening. Also keep the horizon out of the middle of the image and learn the First Rule of Landscape Photography . . . No Clouds No Pictures! 3. What is this a rat on the beach? Front light would have worked better than back light here. Nice use of depth of field to isolate the subject. 4. Read #2 again. 5. This is nice but you only have 2 things in the composition sky and water. Most landscapes work better with 3 or more elements in the composition. I know there is never a palm tree around when you need one. If you are serious about shooting landscapes then you also need to know the First Axiom of Landscape Photography . . . There is always one to many or one to few trees! Good luck! 32

You might check out a plastics supplier in your town. I get sheets of plexiglas from a place that is listed under Plastic Fabricators in the Yellow Pages. When you buy the plexiglas, it might have sticky paper on one or both sides. Try this to remove it. On the short side, peel back about 3 inches of the paper (all the way across the short side), lay down a broom handle (or something long and round) on the sticky paper, tape the 3 inch strip of sticky paper to the broom handle, roll the broom handle the length of the plexiglas. This will evenly pull the sticky paper off of the plexiglas.

The acrylic that passes 40-49% of the light will be brighter and will require less light. The 1/8 inch acrylic will bend easier but will also be easier to brake. Unless the objects you plan on photographing are heavy I would recommend you try a sheet about 4 feet x 8 feet and 1/8 inch thick. Also try real hard not to scratch it.
