How can Pond5 control any kind of misuse of the license? Our clips are not like movie that you rent and than automatically disappear after use.
Anybody can download our clips and then use them as long as they want. Who can check it?
Exactly, who is going to check to see if they stop using it under the specified time frame ... No one. It's just a way for them to make more money and we make less.

Nothing like last year for me. I'm down hundreds of dollars compared to last October 2016.
Glad everyone is doing well though. I just don't feel like it will ever return to the "8/10" acceptance days. They seem to accept anything and everything now. I can't compete.

I'm opted out. I keep getting emails saying I need to opt in to increase sales. One time they even said if I don't respond to an email I will be automatically opted in. Very strange...
I wouldn't mind some of my photos in the distributor pool but it is either all or nothing.

No news yet for me. I was going to upload a few more yesterday and couldn't because my application is "currently under review". I wonder if it is one person who decides if you get accepted or several? Just curious about the process of accepting people...

Shelma you are completely on point. What kind of Photographer would agree to these terms? They are going to get horrible images to show their clients. SS will look like a joke presenting such images.

Hi guys, I'm opted out of SS's EL's and someone needs an extended license for print (500 or 1000 copies).
I was thinking $100. What does the average person charge?
I always appreciate your input. If SS didn't lower their EL commission, I wouldn't have to think about this.
