Does anyone know if review criteria at AS is the same as on FT?
I am using FT but they drive me crazy with "similar already submitted" rejection.
From every two images from the same session one is rejected for this reason though they are very much different in what, for example, one is pasta with cheese closeup and one is pasta with herbs (wide), or one is an isolated plate and one is a table setting with the same plate/ food + props.
So what is your experience with this?

They haven't put a captcha on the Adobe site. It was getting to be enough of a nuisance that I stopped using the Fotolia version.
Yes, but As doesn't autocomplete my login data saved by my browser (FF) and that is a nuisance too, at least for me.

Below:
By using shutterdowner you are ACCEPTING our Terms & Policies | Credit By Facebook Business DMCA Protected | Powered By ShutterStock Coded By MrZaghar
See for yourself. This thief is one step ahead of SS. SS needs to take serious action, their added security measures do not help. It's a cat and mouse game with this hacker, this site needs to be taken down.
I don't see the favicon you mentioned but the rest are all lies and window dressing. 1. Terms & Policies is a mandatory page on all sites which refers to the use of cookies, you can see it popping up on every site (in the header or footer). 2. DMCA protected is a free badge that everybody can post on his/her site ( I do it too) but you get no protection unless you pay for it. At the link provided by Artist you can see "not verified" on the shield. When someone pays for this sevise, it changes to "verified". Besides, it seams to be still pending. 3. Powered By ShutterStock - though the link is masked by google URL shortener, I think this is a serious ofence, SS should take some action.

I hate it too but at least some agencies land you on the dashboard after hitting verify. Ft pushes it too far now, you have to click 5 time besides the captcha to enter the dashboard.

I never thought I would ever say this but I have more dl-s on DP than on SS this week. I know it is summer but almost no downloads in the middle of the week is very strange.

Can't sign in to FT, the reCaptcha is stuck, I am trying to put in the check-mark in the box but nothing happens. Anyone else?

This is how they replied on Friday:
"Thank you for reporting this important issue.
Our legal team will issue a takedown notice to this site, and others like it that we find.
Our teams are also working to secure our systems to defend against this type of fraud.
Thank you for your commitment to Shutterstock and for your continued contributions."
that Sh*tterDowner site is still up and working, very disappointing. Not uploading any new images until this will be resolved.
I received the same answer. SS shut down many of them these past months, unfortunately these thieves always come back under another URL.

Skrill will be my last choice always, pathetic service with too many charges. Payoneer is good for those countries who do not have paypal in operation.
I think currently I will stick with paypal
Biggest difference between Paypal and Payoneer for me: a) Prepayed Mastercard connected to Payoneer account - If I remember Paypal have something similar but for US citizens only You could use your card on any ATM but If you are using Mastercard for buying products, services and paying bills you can minimize withdrawal fees. b) Virtual US bank account so US clients could pay directly to your US bank account number which is also important to me because microstock is just a part of my photo/video business.
It is still unclear for me but what I see on their page is that you have to pay an annual fee for that card, $29.95 (~$2.5/month) . Europeans need a card in for FT (if FT accepts Payoneer) and another in $ for the rest, that would be $5/month just for the card. There are more fees for ATM withdraw........and "up to 3.5% currency conversion". Here are all fees for those interested https://www.payoneer.com/fees/and a screenshot for the card. I know PP has many hidden fees but this doesn't seam cheap to me either. Did I miss something?

Germans are frequent buyers, but according to my personal data, US buyers buy more than Europe combined (excluding the UK), and the UK is a big buyer too.
There is almost always a holiday somewhere, but I find that the US holidays are what can make sales dry up.
That could be your case but I have at most 10downloads/month from the US and even less from UK. This is a big holiday for Christianity, not just Roman Catholic but for Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches and all Protestants too. Even so I don't think that I will have less downloads than on my usual 0 Saturdays. This will pass too.

Thank you Mat. Yes, I have to convert first with PP to my country's currency and then back to for Adobe payment.
Thanks for offering to share with the team.

Yes, that is weird that they don't accept PP for everything. You might send an email to Mat Hayward directly, maybe he can help you figure something out, yeah?
Thanks Cathy. I don't want to burden Mat with this, I could call their office in my country but I searched in the meantime and it seams this is how they work. Strange is that they shows me the price in but they don't let me use my master card either, they force me to pay with the Visa card, which is local currency. Never seen a place where they dictate which card you can use.

I find unbelievable that they accept PP for some of their software but not for all software. No, it's not how I pay, I haven't found yet a place where you can't pay with PP for software.
Thanks for your input anyway.

Adobe doesn't accept PP payment for other than CC products, at least I couldn't find a way to do so.
Apparently, I have to convert my credits 3 times back and forth at the worse rate to buy something from Adobe, I can't believe this is happening.
Any advice, please?

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Retina screen. I had change my screen resolution to get the 'Sign Out' option to show up. Thanks for the help!
They listened to your feedback, the entire black box was moved in the middle of the page. Haven't you got a thank you email from DT?

You should make 100$ withdraw money and than close account!
Sure, but making $6 at DT make take you a lifetime :-)
That's right. It's not fair, I agree but as far as I know, no agency will pay you if you leave before you make payout. I am at $90 and I fear it will take another year for me to make payout. The closer you are to $100, the less downloads you get. I had 3 dl-s for $1.05 in May and 4 dl-s for $1.40 in June. They are holding and using our money as long as they can.

I think he was using one of the many methods mentioned on SS thread. Those are now blocked, well most of them. He could also be a crook that doesn't deliver what he is promising. Anyway, new methods will be created if SS doesn't secure the collection somehow.

The Quora disqussion
https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-download-shutterstock-images-free
is online still, and much related info. Would it be better if we reported it to Quora directly?
Just the article is still there, the downloader mentioned is blocked (see the last page on SS thread). There is nothing to do about Quora, they do nothing wrong from a legal point of view. Some call this freedom of speech, even when it hurts us. If you read their About page, you will see that they are proud having "people (authors) you can't meet elsewhere." They also protect the anonymity of their authors. More than that, "the Wayback Machine was banned entirely from crawling Quora." ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quora)

I would say, contributors that don't read the SS forums don't care about their products either. There is a long thread about this over there and SS says it was taken care of the matter.

If I use that link I only see a small "preview" size image, not full size. Is that correct?
It depends on what small means to you. I downloaded one of my images and it was 1000px on the long side but I'm not sure if I used the right link (for bigger size).
