I sent the payment request yesterday and received the confirmation email immediately.
Thanks for letting me know - that's reassuring. I thought it was just a glitch but, when someone else told me they had the same problem, I was a little worried. I'll see if deposit come back with any solution today.

I can't make the request, @Firn - the email doesn't arrive, (not in spam either), so I can't verify the payment. I've been with deposit for many years, and never had an issue in the past.
They told me today that the problem was fixed, but it still doesn't work, so they are looking into it further. I'm not the only person with this problem, as an acquaintance of mine also confirmed that it wasn't working for him either.

I got my payment, I just must contact help service because no confirmatory email is sending to me. But was fixed right away.Very fast and great service.
My problem is also that I can't get the email. I've contacted them twice - first time I was told they were looking into it, and the second time hasn't yet had a response. I have several hundred dollars that I can't get out.

Same here. This happened in the early 2020 too.
In that case it's probably just a technical issue. Let's hope so!

I can't request a payout and it's making me nervous.
The email to confirm the payment isn't being sent, despite numerous attempt over the past few days, so a payment request can't be completed. I've contacted support but not had a response.
Anyone else have an issue or is it just me?

Me too, and I've no complaints about being paid more, (unless it suddenly gets reversed from future earnings).
Maybe Canva have decided we actually deserve a bit more than they are paying? After all, the double payment scheme was introduced because they were confident that their new subscription plan would double our money and, to date, there is not much evidence that this is the case for most contributors.
All credit to Canva if this is not an error, and I look forward to the explanatory email.

When this new plan started, the first month briefly showed many hundreds of downloads in the subscription area. Canva swiftly removed this information, which is very telling.
The only way to know whether we are earning a fair rate is to know the RPD, which they are not prepared to disclose.
$100 subscription earnings is great for maybe 100-300 downloads, but is terrible if it's for say 800-1000+
In this industry, it's pretty clear that we shouldn't trust anyone who is not transparent with their payment structure, or at least be aware that it's a solid indicator that we are being shafted.

IT reads like a North Korean press release.
Rare to see a CEO so completely and utterly out of touch with reality.
Most people earning $4.5 million a year are out of touch with reality.

"we believe that we are stronger together"
You may have 'seen the best of people at the very worst of times' but we just got the worst of Shutterstock at the worst of times.
Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds, Stan.

They really need to make easier to manage your images. At the moment it is very hard to do, you can't search within your portfolio to find an image to remove.
Agreed. The problem is even further compounded if you have images on Istock, as they will show in your portfolio and not in your uploads. It's a total nightmare if you need to remove anything.

I choose photos of commercial valued and give a proper feed back why photos were declined, if asked.
how do you decide what has commercial value?
It's a skill learnt by experience, guidelines from company, market trend and intuition.
ROFLMAO -- intuition? really??? what qualifies you over the artist?
what sort of testing do you do to PROVE your decisions are correct? i've always considered LCV the worst reason for rejection - let the market decide
No need to have a go at the OP they were asking about job opportunities they were not responsible for any rejections you may have had.
hoist on his own petard - reviewers need more than intuition and claims they know the market
I guess that's why he also mentioned experience and company guidelines.

Team-spirit face paint and hat with animal horns? This is actually an unclear indicator that could mean anything, but safest to keep my distance from that guy anyway, even at a football game.
Watching all the insanity going on, particularly at the height of a pandemic, is alarming and depressing. Good advice and this gave me a well needed laugh, so thanks for that!

I'd have to disagree with the 'let the market decide' comment. That's how Shutterstock ended up with 350million+ images and pages and pages of dross, sending buyers to different agencies that had a more comprehensive curation process. Any artist producing reasonable quality images won't be disadvantaged by LCV rejections.

Hi Everyone,
A friendly reminder in case you have met the download requirement to qualify for the bonus program using old content, but you haven't submitted any new content in 2020, you will not be receiving a bonus code.
The bonus is only available for "active" contributors. To be considered active, you must have uploaded (and had approved) at least two files in 2020. You've got about a month left to make it happen so get busy!
In case you missed the link with details on the bonus program before, here you go: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/royalty-details.html
Cheers!
Mat Hayward
Hi Mat,
Since my previous bonus program expired in October 2020 I was forced to make an annual subscription with Adobe for the Creative Cloud apps until I get the new free bonus program from Adobe Stock in February 2021, my question is how can I switch in February from the paid one to the free one without paying the fee for cancelling my current paid subscription, as I understand I have to pay half of the amount for the left months.
Thank you!
The same happened to me previously, and when I applied the code for 12 months free, the plan date was simply extended for a year, so remaining payments were deferred for 12 months.

I tried to login before I got the email, and received a security notice requesting me to change my email. I created a strong password and can login, but only to the customer site, when I try to login to the contributor site, the new password doesn't work. I can use the old password, which prompts me to change the password, and the whole process starts again.
I've been round and round in circles since yesterday, and now I'm waiting for support to get back to me.

I have a run of clawbacks from a 'Partner Program' in China. I wonder what that's all about?
Someone mentioned over 100 of these on their forum (unless that was you!)
It wasn't me, and thankfully, I only had about 20. It didn't add up to much - maybe a couple of dollars - but it's another example of less than transparent information.

I got a 38c refund a few days ago, but DT refunds are generally few and far between. Maybe 1 or 2 a year.

So let me ask, if I am getting this right:
-> Any one with a CC account (I myself use a Photoshop/Lightroom account) is now able to download 100 images per day with each image covering the full lifetime commercial use license? Do those free images cover extended license as well?
No to both questions. You don't need to be a Creative Cloud member to use Adobe Stock. You must have an Adobe ID. The images come with a standard license.
Thanks for your questions,
Mat
So anyone who has an Adboe ID, (such as creating an account for a free trial of Photoshop and never paying any money for any product to Adobe in any way), can now get 100 free images a day? Am I reading that right?

I just feel sad that within six months we have all gone from 'which site do you like the most' to 'which site do you dislike the least'.
In an ideal world, we would all pull our ports and go exclusive with Dreamstime, as they seem to be the only site that hasn't actively scr***d us over in some way or another.

So when you sign up as a customer, can you simply sign up for a free account and just download free images, or do you have to also have a paid plan to get access? I can understand a small free section, as a promotion to paying customers, but not as an alternative to purchasing a plan. Wouldn't it be so much better to offer a 'buy 5, get one free' kind of deal?
Agree with the others that 100 free images a day is way too many but, if Adobe have already struck a deal, (and paid contributors to include free images), then they have already crunched the numbers to calculate the financial benefits to them. They are unlikely to change one of the variables any time soon.
I had really hoped that Adobe would rise above all the 'great news' Microstock deals. As a company with a more diverse offering, they are better placed than the pure microstock sites in these difficult times.
But, it's tough times for all of us, and it would be so much easier to deal with all of this if the companies recognised the value of contributors and their assets. Adobe has been the best at this for quite some time, so let's hope they don't go down the slippery slope of forgetting who provides them with a product to sell, (or give away).

So the September payment made this month will still be double March, right? September being the last of the 6?
As far as I know yes, should be the last of the six
Thanks - I was doubting myself!

My August sub earnings were pretty much the same as July and June, a few bucks higher actually. My July total earnings show exactly double of that in March, I just haven't received anything on my paypal account yet.
@KuriousKat What email did you use?
I think I initially used the online contact page, but the response I got was from this email: [email protected]

So did anyone actually received payment for July earnings?
Yes - I did. I got a part payment and, after emailing to enquire why I wasn't getting the full 'double March' payment, I got the balance about a week later. In fairness, it was short by about 50c, but I decided to let them keep that!
