They removed the size restriction but the 'Download' part is the issue. The fact that one can download a copy in full res is not allowed (see below). Somebody grabbing a screen image is also not permitted but is stealing and a different issue..
Someone downloading it is clearly not allowed (but also impossible to stop). I was asking if the buyer is allowed to upload it at full size.
There are no restrictions that I'm aware of. They can use your image on a billboard if they like. The blogger is not purposely giving your image away or reselling it. If someone steals it from the blog, that's what they're doing...stealing.
So it's allowed unless the title is "free high-res image"? I can still see a problem here
yes they can.

There's probably a better way to do it, but I search on one of my less common keywords, then when I find one of my thumbs, I click on it, then click on my name on the file's page.
And then bookmark that page

A couple months ago I had a situation where the same editorial image was downloaded and returned I believe 5 times - it was an LEL sale for $40. I wrote and asked multiple times what was up with that image and this is the response I got: Apologies for the snail-like response. Our Team has done a thorough research on the issue that was brought up by you regarding the download of image # xxxxxxxx with LEL and multiple refunds relating to this. The problem occurred due to a system error that split the initial purchase/download of the image which was eventually fixed by our team. As a matter of such, there should not be any further repeat of the similar case in the future. Hope this clarifies. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion that was caused by this. Please do not hesitate to contact us again should you need further assistance from us! Certainly didn't clear things us - but the sale finally stood up without additional refunds.

It should be displayed separatly on the phone app.
Is that actually working?

This is all wild speculation. You are not competing against the number of applications sent in whether its 1000 or 100,000. You need to show you have a style they want and that you would be an asset to the co-op.
They may be willing to add 100 or maybe 500 new artists but if only a handful of applications appeal to them, then that's all they will invite onboard.
Yes, I'm still waiting to find out if I made the cut.

I also reverted back to the old editor this evening.
How do you do that?
I didn't do anything. But this morning I'm still back to the old editor.

The new 'content editor' rolled out to some of us on the west coast sometime overnight. I was dreading the prospect after reading all the posts here and on the SS forum. Hate to say it - as much a I dislike change - it wasn't that bad. I started with just 3 editorial images as a test and frankly it looks like they might have addressed some of the issues reported earlier. So I went ahead and uploaded 6 more editorial images and honestly I don't think it took any longer than the old uploader. I didn't see the issue Michelle had with only being able to see only 1 line of images. Selecting and amending info for multiple images was a matter of just holding down the Command Key (Mac) and clicking on the images I wanted to edit. Scrolled down clicked editorial box and it was applied to all. I typically don't upload in large batches so I can't speak to how it will affect the process for those who do. But so far I'm not as PO'd as I thought I'd be.

I just submitted a couple of files and everything looks the same to me - did I misunderstand what page you were referring to or is this rolling out in phases. I'm on the US West Coast
In on the west coast also and I'm not seeing the new format either - thank goodness.

This may be a stupid question but do I need to put a title above the caption? In the image of the bridge the words "steel bridge" was a title. It was that short due to only 200 characters..... At Istock you have a separate field for the title but at SS and BS you only have one.
If you are entering the fields manually at each site some will have a space for title but SS & BS don't. So you do not need to enter one. You should consider embedding the meta data in the image so you only have to do it once. The info will carry over each time you upload to a site. I do it in Photoshop or Bridge. You can do it in Lightroom and there are other stand alone programs you can use to do this.

Your description: Steel bridge Budapest, Hungary - September 27, 2017: Liberty bridge in Budapest, people in cars waiting in line due to traffic lights. Tram tracks and glimpse of the Gellert building in the background I'm surprised SS accepted that description - it's not to format. The phrase 'Steel Bridge' in front of the destination is wrong: This is the correct format: and reworded a bit. (although they are pretty lax on the 'all caps' part.) BUDAPEST, HUNGARY - SEPTEMBER 27, 2017: Liberty Bridge in Budapest. Traffic on the iconic bridge with a glimpse of the Gellert building and city skyline in the background. Show an example of what gets rejected.
The same captions I use for SS are accepted by BS.

Good job . Thanks for your chart.
I see in your chart so far unknown stocksite for me: Solidstockart. You highlighted this stock site as recommended. Do you have some good experiences with this stock site? What about earnings ? Thanks
Currently not accepting new artists

What I found interesting is they want to know who your clients are. Is that so they can poach them and send you assignments through 'Flashstock/ SS Connect. No way in hell I tell them who I've shot for.

Frankly I hate Lightroom. I wish I didn't have to pay for it in my subscription. I like to shoot tethered and it has cost me hours of wasted time and money trying to make that program work. I don't like the way is stores and catalogs files I am content just using PS and Bridge. As soon as they raise the price I'm out and will find something else that works for me.

I met Mike at that 2007 seminar. He's become a friend and can tell you that he couldn't care less what you think of him or his art. And I guarantee he makes more with a camera than most people posting here.
We work together a couple times a year and are in the process of putting together a shoot right now. Anyone who's worked with him will tell you he's a great collaborator and generous with his time and expertise. He is full of ideas - some quirky, but often he gets it right on the money.

Got my first request for some Seattle shots - pay $50 for 4 images, with talent - no expenses. I'm in Southern California - why would I get a request for something almost 1200 miles away? This is a joke.

No news yet for me. I was going to upload a few more yesterday and couldn't because my application is "currently under review". I wonder if it is one person who decides if you get accepted or several? Just curious about the process of accepting people...
That didn't prevent me from uploading more yesterday.
