I have 23 at level 1, and another 15 within striking distance ... Go, stuff in my DT portfolio, go!
I think Sharply means 23 at level "2". Nice to see some pink and orange! I have one level 3 with 38 sales, wonder if it will continue to sell now that it costs 3-6 credits. My second best one will be level 3 with one more sale.

I jumped a category. I expect Nov/Dec will be good too, but it will hurt if I drop a category in January.

I don't know if it will benefit contributors unless they introduce new customers to microstock. They may just steal customers from other agencies that most of us are at anyway. I purchase infrequently, and I am the type of customer that would be all over that plan. I think they would in fact lose money from an infrequent customer like me who would ordinarily buy a minimum required credits which would only be a 2 or 3 full sized photos. But, it's an incredibly clever strategy. Hopefully they are not stealing customers from DT where commissions are getting better and better.
Edit. This doesn't make entire sense, because I was thinking of StockXpert when I wrote it. And, from my point of view - as a customer, they have such a good database, I think that once my credits run out elsewhere, I'll definitely be shopping at SS.

Don't take it lightly. It's only 30cents but it's still a sale. What if it was a big one, like an extended license sale. We take it for granted that the agencies systems are in good working order and that they are honest representing us. If a sale just dissapears, 30 cents or not, they need to account for it. Please mention in their forums as well so that everyone knows.

I thought that once sites went subscription they usually relaxed their rejections. From what I've been hearing, sounds like they don't want to grow their library at all.

LO sold quite a few, which is surprising considering the relatively low sales there. Eco, LO sells more I think because they only sell the largest (original) file size as an EL. If they would just put the dimensions on the landing page for that photo, you would likely sell more at the EL size, as it is - they give the dimensions for every size but the EL (until they click through to purchase).

All of mine have been since March (I love extended license sales)
DT - 1 FT - 3 SS - 4 IS - 1 LO - 1
5 of them were nature photos. I think they must sell for calendars or something with larger runs.

I hope that dollar will raise again when Hilary Clinton is elected for president...

That's great! Is it enough to cash out over there (30 days too isn't it?) What are you sending them, Freezing? Do you have any penguins left for the macros?

I feel like Istock and SS have switched. I had a overuse of noise reduction software one one file at SS and it was actually accepted at IS. Go figure.

But, has the D3 been released yet? That's the Nikon, right? I think you have to preorder it right now. (In Canada anyway). So, I'm not sure e-bay would be much help yet. I checked on Vistek.ca, one of Canada's biggest sites for you, and they don't ship international so I doubt the other Canadians do either.

But, where is Canon manufactured? Surely not in the U.S. is it, likely China? Do you have free trade with the country it's manufactured in? I know when I import goods - mainly from the U.S. - the tarrrifs all depend on the country of origin. So, if I buy a t-shirt printed at Cafe Press you would think it would have just GST... but, if Cafe Press brought that t-shirt from Korea, it is subject to duties.
Another factor would be freight - but that surely doesn't make up the big difference.

Is that body only? In Canada the body is $1399, $100 more than in U.S. and our dollar is about $1.02 - $1.04. No, not fair.

My intention with this poll is less about your need for cash, but more about your faith in the stability of the agencies. I know that some here have lost earnings when an agency has collapsed. Often the Internet won't allow me onto a site or two and I think "Oh no, I shoulda cashed out when I had the chance!" And earlier in October some were worried about delayed payouts from a certain site.
I've also heard that some full-timers treat their stock earnings like a payroll.
Myself, I normally collect "what I can" at the end of the month, but now that we are in busy season and earnings are somewhat higher, I wonder if I should cash out "when I can".

I tried this but didn't see a "sell the rights" option to get the results set you were describing. Did I miss anything?

First, you may check to find the magenta/pink/whatever "More DreamFinder Options" on the right side. Then under the green advanced search tab, check the SR-EL box.

So, I think from this thread if I find time to focus on one new site in November it should be Crestock over SV?

Quite the rebel, you are! I notice though that there isn't a Canon strapped around your neck. Much too risky for the camera's sake I guess.

Oh, no! I think they've recruited someone from Istock!!! My successful streak has come to a screeching halt this week. Overuse of noise reduction and artifacts!!! (It's ironic getting a noise reduction rejection from SS, and it was only applied to the sky!)

Also, you can go to Dreamstime, put in your keyword and check the sell-the-rights box (might need to open up more options), sort by downloads decsending. The first row of images for the keyword "background" range from $350 to $7,000.

Robert, how did they know you submitted it before? Did you include the original image number or did they check on you?

My new uploads had 0 views for the last 3 weeks. It seemed like something must be wrong so I checked from another computer and the couple I looked at DID receive the 1 view.
Now all of a sudden I have a couple files approved from this week (none from last week), I finally have thumbnails on half of those pending and several views overnight on the photos that sat stagnant since Sept. I don't know what was broke for me with the searches, but it seems normal for today anyhow. I've only been there a couple months so I don't know what is normal yet.

Worst: LuckyOliver: 400 photos, 9000 views, 19 dowloads, 13$. Just converted my 13$ to 10$ credits since I will never reach the 100$ payout there. After that, I'm an ex-carnie.
I don't get it. I've looked at your photos before and they are pretty darn good, and you know how to keyword. Why do you only have 19 dl's? Yours are much better stock photos than mine, but I have about 250 there and 41 sales. I'm not sure how the commenting game affects sales - but I had sales when we played it before, and I had 5 sales in the first half of this month when I had more time to comment - no sales in the last half when I've been too busy. I was wondering what the buzz is on photoshelter? I certainly like the commissions they plan to pay. I also have a few on Albumo, but is it the general opinion that SnapVillage is a better gamble?
