Do you think they'd let me be their external resizing company? I'd happily resize images in PS for that much, I'd even give them a 20% discount. It's a better pay rate than I get taking and editing my own photos.
They say "we share the remaining amount with the image enlargement service provider." It doesn't necessarily mean that resizing company really gets 36,7% :-)

BTW, will these 150 credit sales take you 150 credits closer to your credit target in January or just 20 credits closer? If the latter, it amounts to raising the target before the system has even started.

Hi Everyone,
Great news! We've introduced another value added service to our clients - 123RF Image Enlargement Service. And you can now see this as being available on the website if you look at your file sizes, we now have the following:
Size Credits Your share S 1 50% M 2 50% L 3 50% XL 4 50% XXL 5 50% 100 MB TIFF 150 20 credits 200 MB TIFF 300 40 credits 300 MB TIFF 450 60 credits
We are employing an external party to provide this service to our clients. We are using your 5 credit version of the image to enlarge it to 100, 200, 300 MB TIFFs with some minor touch up, removal of noise, etc. Don't worry about your original images, we do make sure that we keep everything cataloged and our external service provider will not distribute this version without first consulting 123RF.
The good news is, you're now getting approximately 13.3% of the FULL VALUE (not 50% as in the case of the S-XXL size images) of the credits for each image enlarged, while we share the remaining amount with the image enlargement service provider.
We hope that this will prove to be a good and profitable business model for you and our clients as it will increase the earning capacity for everyone. We will promote this service to all our clients and soon you should see some heavy hitting sales coming your way!
Thank you very much.
Alex. for 123RF.com

That's exactly what I thought MP. I'm not epileptic but I am a migraine sufferer, and I had to stop it after a couple of seconds. Eyes and head were affected badly - so I immediately thought of those with epilepsy.
yeah, i can't watch that stuff too, why not using a morph instead of that "page flipping" ?
not to mention the subliminal message ... hahaha ... Getty == Sex
It's logical. It must be sex if it's not money what makes us happy. :-)

Delete this thread. It's nonsense but new Getty owners could be inspired by this idea.

I wasn't able to log in for two days both with Firefox and on my smartphone - but had no problem with Safari. Today I deleted manually DT cookies in Firefox and it works now.

Nice feature. I've sent them back photos that were rejected because "Illustration is too simple".

I wonder how would the value of agencies drop if Shutterstock would come up with possibility of going exclusive with them with reasonable royalties. I think that it would destroy many of agencies.

Their approach is crazy. Why they just can't use same system of partner management like Zoonar or Yay - let us decide what API-partners we want to license our images through.

You all know that print media has been in decline in the last years, and it will be declining also in future.
I see the average size of images sold is getting smaller and smaller. more xsmall and small sizes, less large and xlarge.
I think microstock sites should revise their pricing. Small sizes up and big sizes down. What do you think?
+ 1. One of the reasons is that theft of image on web is much more probable that in print media. Also images on web are visible / searchable few months or years, in some cases forever, their lifetime in print media is max. few weeks. I think that pricing must change in few years as IMO the future of print media will be even shorter and less bright than future of microstock.

It's neverending story. It seems that this time missing images are not searchable.

It seems that images from digital cameras become darker and blurry after two years. No technology is perfect

My first and last PC (Windows 95) was destroyed by Chernobyl Virus. From this moment on I am happy Mac user. (but not without reservations - wi-fi connection still doesn't work as it should on 10.7...)

If cursor is over this stoplights icon text says what to change. But you have to upload image again.

I don't know. I have Bridge installed on same disc as saved images. But as I understand it - previews are saved on system disc, so it shouldn 't have something to do with speed or free size on external disc if you keep full previews in cache.

i plug the portable hard disk to another computer with less RAM.. and run adobe bridge and browser the images and it is smooth.
I wonder what is causing the problem, is it because i am running something together? like lightroom, chrome..
i got 6G ram.. the adobe will become slow when i try to multiple select or right click for 'file info'..
Is it because of multi tasking? or cache of adobe bridge? it seems like no warning or alert..just slow..
You are not the only one. There are some threads about this issue on Adobe Forums. It seems that it has something to do with cache memory. You should try to play with cache / under preferences. http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/cache-bridge-cs4-cs5.htmlhttp://forums.adobe.com/thread/661588

Personally I don't care if someone ads my images to his board. What makes me angry is the possibility of embedding of images to another website. I could start new web without paying for images and it would be more or less legal - according to Pinterest. http://www.northsideseo.com/pinterest-copyright-linkbuilding/

That's interesting about the different types of CA. I have noticed, as I guess everyone has, that some kinds of CA are easy to fix and others are almost impossible. The fully-finished product may well get it all sorted. I don't usually dive in to betas, I'm a classic 'slow adopter'! Tx for the links.
It didn't look like beta, it was just another Adobe product update. When I look at "about CR" it doesn't look like beta either. But after short testing it seems it really works well.
