Chart says it all:  IS is dead cow this month since they changed something... 123rf and StockXpert are doing better than IS. I stopped uploading any more, until I see some improvements.

yeah, but I dont use those detergent-like liquids that comes in kit (dont clean very well). I use alcohol napkins made for glasses, and other optics, not specificaly for lenses . But I find them very useful, only question is can they damage my filter coatings?

Is it a good idea to clean Hoya Super HMC multicoated UV filter with alcohol napkin (specialy made for optic cleaning)? I have been cleaning my lenses with those, and never have problems. How about multicoated filters?

tnx naah, I like 1.6x crop factor, more zoom also all my lenses would start vigneting if I turn to FF. And I dont want that. At least for now.

@litifeta : 50D is OK. I got used to it. Shoot over 2500 images with it now. Overall happy with it, but when 60D comes out (possible with lower noise LOL!) I wont wait a minute, and buy a new camera. On the other hand, I dont have plans to go for FF.

The only thing I need to find some replacement for my Canon EF 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 USM II. It has low vinjeting, and very low CAs. But it is not very sharp at the side of the image. http://www.photozone.de/Reviews/overviewI considered 24-105 f4L, it is sharp OK, no vinjeting, but produces a lot more CAs (which is not acceptable). Then I considered EF-S 17-55, it is sharp OK, but do a lot vinjeting, and a bit CAs. Also 17-40L, not sharp enouh (more like my 28-105), and do a lot of CAs also. do you have any suggestion for "walkabout" lens to shoot landscapes and portraits at the same time. Something in range 17-80mm. (it can be 17-50 or 30-80, never mind), that is sharp and do as less CAs as possible?

Last week I bought Canon EF 100mm f2.8 MACRO USM lens (with Hoya Super HMC UV 58mm filter), and it so great, I simply love it! In first week made over 100 new macro images for stock. In few days I am expceting another lens to come - Canon EF 70-200 f4L IS (with Hoya Super HMC UV 67mm filter). Cant wait! It sure will fit great on my also new EOS 50D Got Lowepro Micro Trekker 200 backpack to put all that equipment Just to share excitement....

perhaps canon found problems with noise on new sensor and delaying the sales because they are desperately trying to fix the problem! LOL!
so much talk about low noise on 50D, I bought one, and guess what, it has more noise than 40D and 400D even at ISO 100. Image quality is not bad, but far from low noise. Canon lied to us. Thed didnt make any improvement in terms of noise, at contrary they made it even worse. 15MP on this sensor is a bit too much.

Today, all (eight, and maybe ninth will be the same) my rejections on fotolia were type: "Your photograph did not reach our desired level of aesthetic quality." So, I am asking my self, are my photos really so ugly, or maybe this is some new reviewer, or he has only one button for rejection, he's right and other reviewers on other sites don't know what is good photo, or it's maybe something else?
how in the world we can answer to your question, when you didnt provide samples of rejected files? maybe they were that ugly. we dont know until you show them to us.

there should be a minimum limint to call a month a BME. for example anything below 100$ per month cant be called BME by any means.
4$ comparing to 6$ as BME is ridiculous. 20$ is ridiculous to call a BME. even 50$.
