FT is about 20-25% of my SS earning, but it is going up.

327
personally, if you cannot make money with ss
you won't make money anywhere else.
so, i would advise concentrate your efforts on making sellable images with ss.

the time you waste uploading to every single site to the right
will be better used to making new images for ss.

until another site can market their images as well as ss, or the old istock
i would not bother.

or you can try the elite clubs like offset and stocksy
whic are doing well for those who cheer for them.
their images would not be the same as you give to ss
as their needs are somewhat a bit (or very) different .

did you read my post?

really  don't understand people who put their images to every single site they find.

i only submit to 6 sites and will probably stop submitting to one of them and need advice of any good earner to take it place.

btw. even SS is my far best earner, while increasing my portfolio I see better progress in other sites I mentioned (FT and 123rf)

for example, I increase my portfolio by 100% in one year, SS earning go up about 50%, and FT and 123rf earning go about up 70-100%

Greetings everyone and excuse my English

I always submit to 6 agencies (SS, Alamy, FT, IS, 123RF and DT), and as I grow my portfolio I can see earnings going up more or less on most of those agencies except for last one DT.

Also, i have some images on DP but it's about 5% of my full portfolio but not planning to submit there because of some topics i have read here (3% royalty and similar things).

So, from now on, I think I will not submit anymore to DT, even it's easy submit. Not planning to delete my portfolio, just don't want to waste my time anymore.

I need to tell that I have mostly photo portfolio with about 10% vector illustrations and no videos.

I was thinking about envato or pond5, but want to hear from you if any other is good for photographer/vector artist.

In terms of earnings, easiness of upload, trust and overall contributor experience, which one do you recommend and why?

I read here that pond5 is mostly good for video makers, so i would like to hear from contributors that have only images there.

Thank you!

I got it too and I want at least one example from my images with repetitive words so I asked them that.

only one example is enough

interesting view of democracy

when majority of people decide something and someone don't like it, it's isnt democracy anymore, it's racism, old age and stupidity

can anything be more racist than that statement

No 0.19 $ subs this month?

I have more than 1000 new aproved photos in one year but more than 50% less sales.  :-X

yes, those 0.19 subs are missing, but I care much more for 40+ dollars getty sales :)

Are they finished reporting them? I can't see any sales from Getty/Partner program sites, only thinkstock (and istock subs)

We need more sites set up using this model. I wish I wasn't working flat out maintaining my income from the sites I upload to!

agree, and concept isn't that hard to achieve at all

we need 50% commission site with exclusive images, higher quality compared to usual microstock photos (flooding new searches) and without need for those pastel/retro/artistic style.

person/company who make it happen would profit very nice.

I'm first to submit images only to that site and images that don't get accepted go to every other sites I usually submit to.

are you or were you exclusive and abandoned exclusivity in meantime?

337
lol, where you guys find those "third worlds sites" noone heard of?

I'm not talking only about this in particular but many titles in this forums about people complaining or want to know lowest earners with fast upload.

Why not just try to make images/vectors/videos for sites that pays you enough

338
yep, looks like they didn't want it public

we can only guess why...

Except that all the information summarized on those lists is already public, available to everybody through the regular search feature.
I hope it is only a glitch or some update.

Partly agree, "problem" may be that this script detect changes and positions from some time period.

isn't getty artist exclusive?

I mean how can you upload on getty and microstock sites?

1. ShutterStock
2. IStock
3. Fotolia
4. 123rf
5. Dreamstime

closing DPC is best (or if you want) only good thing that happened in microstock industry in the last few years

same here, but when I click your specific monthly earning (not overall) I can see correct amount but it is not added to my overall earnings

347
I just noticed that my gallery views almost disappeared after the changes made few weeks ago

Sales are lower but still ok, but gallery views are from 15-25 weekly to 1-2

348
I usually got good experience with SS support, but it was year or so ago.

« on: April 21, 2016, 15:32 »
I saw some couple of days without PP for March. From 14 to 17 March I don't see any PP, witch is not usual...

similar problem with my earning report. from 24 to 30 no PP sales (one on 31.)

Usually get about 10-15 daily so it is probably some kind of delay

hi. i have slow sales in april, is it just me?

Not just you.  Too early for summer slump, but it feels like that.

Summer slump? Were there even after winter rise? Haven'r really felt anything
