3770461 1529772 2235171 3607404 2640016 By the way I forgot to wish you the best of luck. I'm sure you can make it. @takestock: Please let me know, which 4 or 5 saleable photos do you mean. Thanks!

As I see it, there looks to be 4 or 5 saleable images in the batch.
Saleability, along with the obvious other things, will count for a lot in your submission, as SS will see you are capable of producing images that can sell.
Also, if you are selling successfully on other sites, do let them know where you are submitting,

Looks good. I own a Panasonic myself. The Leica lens is impressive but as many will know, their cameras have had an issue with noise. I hope this model can overcome this.

I totally agree. All images should be taken at face value. Where they are coming from should have no bearing. The trouble is reviewers can see who a certain batch belongs to. It should not matter how many pictures are in queue, it should not matter how many are in batch. Reviewer should see pictures as end-user does, randomly from different contributors and judge them one at the time. This how it should be in ideal world but I agree that in reality large batches or series are disadvantageous.

I'm not sure about the font. Not that comfortable with it.
I suppose it takes the eyes a little time to adjust.

This appears to be quite a common problem and is often reported in the forum. I had the same - but on contacting support got it accepted ok.

I'm beginning to expect Zero days at weekends. The odd weekend you might escape with 1 or 2 downloads.

I have recently been experiencing very slow sales at BigStock.
How has it been for you?

I wouldn't be so sure of making a full time living from this. Microstock for contributors gets more competitive every day and many forum posts report declining sales. However if your work is good you're well on the way. Good luck to you! I've been making quite some money on the side, especially considering my rather small portfolio. SS had been the #1 income since I started and it still is.
Right now (after about a year of micro) I would not be able to make it my fulltime job but who knows what it is gonna be like after 2 or 3 years..

This issue of quality was raised before. Seems like a rush to build a large database. They did say that quality would be tightened up at a later stage, whether this means weeding out existing material or not I don't know. I just had a look at what they have to sell at YAY - what a lot of crap. The reviewers will have to do some sort of quality control if they want to sell photos.
There are probably some decent photos, but who wants to go though thousands of worthless photos to look for something they can buy?

Due to consistently dismal sales, I haven't uploaded to a particular site for a number of months now. This site is outside the "Big 6" and also "Up & Coming". Since stopping, my sales have ceased also. The thing is, I'm not too far off my first payout. If I decide to close my account of course I will forfeit my current balance.
Is that what they are waiting for? - Yes - it's one way of making money for them. Get fed up, stop uploading and quit.
The integrity of sites was recently touched on here at MSG and I feel it's something we all should keep an eye on.
After all, we upload with blind faith and hope and trust we will get a fair deal.
Have you a similar experience of this? or what are your views.

My sales are down. Just ticking along - no great shakes!

Personally, I don't find DT down very often - if it is, it's usually for maintenance.

I too would reccommend DT. Good consistent sales and a very well run site.

But I'm not sure what you mean about the 70% !!
Do you mean not reaching it ever??

Ditto! Lackluster sales, and yes I do take the time to sort my keywords for them.

Just wondering what type of images are selling at Cutcaster. If anyone who had sales could post a link or two.
