ok, I understand, but the submission process has only worked for one file, I've finished manually on fotolia and I saw also that one of the title was exchanged with another file! It seems also that the program don't send files with extended license checked.

Nice work, Bob, I'm starting to test your site tomorrow! Hope you can add automatic picture resize for each microstock site, like in isyndica.

Fotolia uploading is ok but only 1 pictures on 5 was submitted, the other are still in submission queue, when i look on fotolia file i see the file title is not correct: it's the jpeg file name and not the tittle I've entered in the program.

Thanks Niakris , but you don't answer my question:
I have, like every microstocker, already uploaded many releases to the sites, so how can i selecting them in your program?

Hi Niakaris, Your program is very interesting, I'm trying to use it this morning. I don't understand one important thing: how does the model release selection working? Because only istock need to upload new release for each submitted picture. For example, if i want to upload the same picture to dreamstime and shutterstock using a previously uploaded release on these sites, how can i select it in microstocksubmiter?

I have lost my faith in istock. My sales have a similar pattern, new images haven't sold much for a long time now. Yes, you're right Sharpshot, I see also that my last upload till august aren't downloaded or very few, that's different than other years, I'm stopping uploading also...and wait...wait...

Yes, I've noticed some change on my last batch, review time is very long this week. Rejection is higher, with, for the first time very big errors on reasons.
So, in the end of 2010, we can say:
-Istock lost his personality with an uninspired new site design. - Istock is lying at contributors and lowering royalties. - istock start to reject pictures with inconsistent reviews.

One of the very useful function of Isyndica was also the possibility of changing the pictures size by agency automatically. For subscripton agencies it was very helpful to downsize from 21mpx to 8mpx...

too bad, it was very useful for uploading pictures when traveling... And of course, there is no explanations...

I've got to say that if you do this for living you can't afford to take down your images from IStock. They account for too big a percentage of any microstock income. The way to go is to make sure every buyer knows how IStock/ Getty treats its contributors and encourage them to use other cheaper alternatives that pay us more. Then hopefully, in a year or two, we can walk away from IStock when it's a corpse.
Yes Microbius! I think it's the correct solution too! Communication is the right way, but how to spread these news to buyers?

Other agencies who are jumping on the 25c 'bandwagon' seem not to realise that there are compensating factors for photographers with Shutterstock, and until they understand that, I think they will find that many photographers won't join up and many will leave when they realise their sales are so low. Yes, it's true! The problem we have now is massive over-supply which, if anything, suggests contributors are actually earning more than their efforts are really worth. We are probably experiencing a 'correction' at the moment which is likely to end up with many contributors finding it not worth their time & effort to continue.
Absolutely, but do you think it's only to the contributors to change something?

Wasn't Shutterstock the second microstock agency EVER? After Istock? How can they have "killed the market" when they were one of the very first models to create the market? Microstocks market is live till the 70's, shutterstock was simply one of the first established on web. If earnings don't grow anymore, the model is already obsolete.

Shutterstock simply killed the microstock market by starting subscription system with very low earnings for photographers, the others agencies have done exactly the same stupidity few time after, that's all. Today Alamy have also 25c royalties pictures... Only istock seems to be a real agency, that's the only one who double your earnings/year when you regularly uploading new files.

There is definitely something wrong in all the new incoming microstock sites like Stockfresh. It's lacking of real professional spirit. Only 24 files can be submitted a day, that's ridiculous for starting. The sites opened with tons of already over used pictures of the most famous microstockers, always the same photos everywhere... nothing new at the horizon...copy and paste, cloning and cloning again...nothing exciting.

new batch and always the same!! Now they don't accept any pictures with buildings, i've send photos with petronas tower and they say "Contains potential trademark or copyright infringement" !!!!! Dreamstime accepted 99% of the same batches... I think stopping uploading to shutter till september. Nobody talk about that on shutter forum, all they can write is "thanks shutter, it's wonderful" ...

I've just had 14 pictures rejected on 16! that's the first time in three years. Usually I have 90% acceptation. 13 was rejected for out of focus, even the wide angle shots at f10 and more. There's really a big problem among reviewers this summer, usually reviews take only one day in July/august for shutterstock, this year 3/4 days.

I don't see what is the subject of your photo, too much confused. Many errors: tilted frame, flat colors, disturbing objects...
