You emphasize that it is stack but you know nothing about the project and what is preparing. Your negative attitude will not stop Steve from what he is doing now and what he will do later.

Solution on cascoly was already existing and will be used till Steve decides to do changes on site which belongs to him.
Also received sexist messages through query string of website will not stop me. Steve is doing his work, i did already mine. Currently i have integration routines for biggest photo hosts and clear understanding that part of people will not be happy that integration solution is enough close to become usual.

Bunhill: please make difference between desktop and web server placed Access database. Concurrency restrictions can be bypassed exactly because the database is on server. For now after optimization Access capacity will be enough to give time to migrate to something more poweful.

Probably Steve is doing something on his site. Noted that from iPhone result of search was coming 2 times more quickly.

Cooperation started. I would like to add that site of photographer itself does not need to be updated. We will need metadata backups in any format or site maps or both or nothing, in some cases we will create another type of profile. All depends from platform which hosts site of photographer. Example of already integrated website you can see searching for example "Belgium" at http://cascoly.com/symbio/symbiostock-network.asp Search will return images with watermark "artnethouse". Click on link below image thumbnail, and you will be redirected to image details page on artnethouse.photodeck.com. This is how looks like final result for now. Many plans are waiting implementation in future. Who is interested please pm. All applications for subscription and payments will be done by cascoly. Our company will handle integration part and related communications. For many it is finish of headache with uploading of images to multiple sites and repeated attributing.

Anyka, i have similar result.
For their percentage they want us work for them full day. Then they will change as they like. Cannot forget that they deleted essential keywords from many of my images. Still majority of my images there are not searchable. Support never answered. Sales are coming only from old images

maybe my logic is off but wouldn't Shutter tell the artist that they should apply to offset based on their already existing portfolio? For example, in my day time job if you are doing very well the upper management will tell you that you should apply for a higher position.
Why they should be interested? Looks like competing collections in this case. BTW - ss portfolio often is not representing the photographer, because what was accepted is filtered by other people, not always following pure ss interest as was discussed already. They invent own rules every time. The last one - it is not permitted to use toning on editorial images. For me, but they accept tons of editorial toned with different themes. Accidentally only 2 such images got in, but it was long time ago. And never in my life i saw a company which was interested in growing of their personnel. They prefer to replace people.

When ss controls exposure and with this they control the sales, i don't see real motivation for giving to SS best images. Business needs to see the perspective. After cases when images searched intentionally by buyer were not present in results, i see the recent only as a new game wasting time of serious contributors. BTW flooders with law quality images think themselves as serious and priviledged now, so i make the difference between 2 types of contributors. When somebody decided to show or not your images to the client, then tell that your earnings are not good enough - many other questions come.
Value of life earnings was in place many years ago - i remember discussions (2009?) that if you started, you have to give the volume immediately. So all who created accounts in early years of ss and these accounts were nearly dormant years, then used actively, still are not good.

Verify your site with home copy using program like Beyound Compare (backup your site, and compare locally). Replace damaged files. And finally - set minimum permissions for files and folders, just to allow the site to function. Change passwords, including to database (for this don't forget to change permissions to min after you change passwords). On WP site you will find recommendations and which permissions to set and where.
How it could be done? Many ways, old version of WP, permissions, plugin holes, hosting company problems. To restore quickly keep always ready healthy copy of your site.

Or exactly serious for some reasons. I have accepted manif photos, and rejected one, editorial too, because it was square (cropping reason). I checked that subject - tourist taking photo is acceptable as editorial and ss has many with the same gadgets. Mine was different generally, more stocksy style. Suspected reason - this composition which i cought "in nature" is reproduceable by image factories. Supporting this opinion were previous rejections of quality images with other subjects, but reproduceable. Images enough unique were accepted. Day of week - i didn't find the correlation strong enough.

From company management POV it is not wasting. I did contract jobs in many companies, and saw a lot. In 90% of them HRs and managers believe that negative attitude from top is positive for company. They don't care how it affects employees, more important that they should feel "the power". I feel myself lucky that i do freelancing.

I have account there but because of size and watermark stoppers i didn't take this seriously. Didn't upload images which could go there if they provide proper watermarking at least.
