SS reviews are really discouraging.

352
I praised them just to get another Attila review... 100% rejection.

This is getting old.

I sure hope they keep TS up and running. My top selling pictures there would get buried in IS.

354
Well no wonder, with this outrageous P/E ratio.
It can be a very profitable company, but it's simply not worth the current price.

Strong PP month +23% over April and comparable to SS earnings.

This trend can be seen even in my small portfolio. Average 4-5 sales each month, and so far 0 in June.

357
Small portfolio but this week has been the strongest in SS since I started microstock.

All other agencies are a total blank though.

358
Yeah all my batches from the last 2-3 weeks got reviewed fairly, +1 point to SS.

24,25,26 may missing sales partner program, anyone the same?

it is not possible there is no sales, average is about 50 a day.
Same here, this PP is random - it's all part of the fun guessing which day will show up next.

360
Wow finally some good news, thanks Valo!

361
But they say to receive international transactions is 7,4% + 0.30 USD.
Unless the agencies have a special agreement.

362
What about Skrill saying in their website that receiving money is always free of charge?

363
Now I actually looked into it, for my country it's 7,4% to receive + 3,5% conversion.
So they are stealing more than 10% of my revenue just like that? There has to be a better way.

Somebody with more experience could give please give some advice?
I'll get my first SS payout next month.

364
Apparently with Paypal you pay 3,5% when you change to your currency.

I'm not sure if there are any other fees though.

What about the size requirements? I have plenty of old 4MP images, some might fit over there.

Thanks for the answers guys.

I just don't think that a buyer would look into Stocksy if searching for pictures of such countries.
If the images were non exclusive I would definitely give it a try.

What kind of 'travel images'?  There are lots of images from people traveling all over the world.  Regular walk around pics of local buildings and usual landmarks probably aren't what they want.

Like better than average landscapes of exotic places... some countries I found 0 results.

Also, the technical standards there are higher than SS?

I did some searches over there but I found very few travel images.

I don't think they actually work on Stocksy, am I right?

Oboy your charts are great, can I just ask you something? How it's possible for DP be your #3?

371
Do they still have that upload limit of 210 images / account?

Started uploading, not bad but they need to allow more images than that.

Also the license they offer is kinda like an extended lease, so I didn't put anything below 10.

372
You know nothing...
With $500/month you would NOT live well in Latin America. You would be very poor!

I'm from South America and now living in Europe, and spent the last 4 years on long term travel around 5 continents. But apparently you know better... fine by me.

373
Wow Japan is one country in Asia, add Singapure so 2. What about the other 45?
Do you have any idea of the average salary in China?

374
I guess it all depends on where are your $$ expectations.
With U$ 500 / month people can live very well in most of the world.

I started 3 months ago, I set my goal and know I will reach it within one year.
After that is bonus because I have low expenses.

Well if you live in Norway or Australia, then yes don't get into microstock.
If you live in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa or Asia there's a good chance of success.

I could definitely make more with a regular job, but I choose freedom over money.

There are probably less then 5000 serious contributors in microstock.
Using the Fotolia week rank, I got it to 4000 once with less than 200 pictures there.

A few industries are probably responsible for more than 80% of the uploads. There will always be people from undeveloped countries where 0.25/d is not that low, but they are not the big threat here.
