you really need to read the contract you have with the agencies rather than asking here. no one can answer that question without knowing the agencies you use to sell your work

mantis, dont put any weight on comments from people working for an agency, they wont be critical of their employer, regardless if the work is voluntary or not
any agency rep is going to give a positive spin on whatever crap the agency comes out with

some parts of nature are privately owned, so you would need a property release, nothing weird about that. the question is, is that waterfall privately owned. could be the case

in your previous comment you also said you were walking to the bank
and i didn't say paypal was only convenient
more selective reading
anyway, you do what you do, it seems to work for you

have you read your reply? what a load of work to use a bank. my word, walking to a bank, scanning and emailing photos,
deferring payments, but that doesn't add more work to your financial administration?
You said it would take 2 months to get a cheque, not me
anyway, not my business, you are right

buyer will never pay a fair price. seen it happen many times, you could ask for example 800 and never hear back again. also very professional of dreamstime to not include any licence details.

its not late, it was later. it couldnt have been late, because its only late after the 15th. if you got paid on the 9th for 5 years, and then it came on the 10th, its still later, but not late. but we are quibbling over semantics now

The runes have failed me! But yeah, never say it's late until the 16th, otherwise you'll get the snarkiness all up in your grill!
I think the term 'later than usual' is allowed, and much more accurate, but you'll probably still get the snarkiness, as they'll be blinded by the red mist of 'Shutterstock payment date thread anger'.
And just to note... they've paid between the 5th and the 10th over the past year. The majority of those payment's were made between 12pm and 2pm EST. So if we've not got it yet, then between 12pm and 2pm on the 11th could be the next likely outcome. Maybe before, or later, you never know!
That would still be the latest payment I've received since signing up for Shutterstock. Just so you know!
But still... to satisfy the eternal rage of the 'it's not late until the 16th' cult members... please keep in mind that: it's not late until the 16th.
feel better now?
