I had a BME at 123rf in January and am approaching another BME there for February (crossing fingers) based on a portfolio of 124 images.

I have been using the "Fav" feature and images that have been faved have seen increased exposure and sales.

If I understand it correctly commissions at DT are tied to the level of the images. The higher the level the higher the cost (for the buyer) and the higher the commission for the contributor ...

Hi all. I am seriously considering the 400D as my first body for a DSLR set-up.

I know it has an LCD but can it be used for other than to review what you've previously shot or other than for the menus? A friend says she has this camera and she's never been able to "view" what she shoots on the LCD (however, she's technically challenged so I imagine its just her not having gone to the manual to figure out the right set of buttons to press or menu settings)

If the camera has this capability ... could someone please let me know the steps so that I may pass them along to her?

Also any information about your experience with using this camera for stock would be appreciated.

speaking of fotolia i might want to remind those who haven't done it that fotolia very happily changes all your extended licenses to a given price.

I had lots of extended licenses listed at 10 credits from before when that was the max?? or i am not sure why.

Anyhow i asked them to change all my files to the max amount of 100 credits - and they did it within a day.

In the last week I have had 2 extended license sales. Makes me glad I changed the pricing when i did.

Do you send them an email to do this ?

First shot imho has 2 problems that really comes down to 1: you had to use a zoom to put in evidence the wireless ear piece and to blur out the ininspiring background using an adeguate aperture.

The second shot has a lot better composition but direct flash kills the model's eyes and if MP large preview is faithful to original it is way out blurred out by noise reduction, so much that it seems out of focus.

Thanks ale1969 for the comments. They were not part of the application I was just trying to show them to Pixart as he asked if I had ever tried doing shots with models. That is the only place they are posted and I am trying to learn from them. However, they were shot several months ago and my skills have increased dramatically since then ...

I have had two TFP (Time for pictures) model photo shoots (my first) which netted me around 150 images. I captured them when I first started getting serious about my stock uploads a few months ago.

This was the closest I've come so far ... it appears there were only 4 rejections. Not good enough to get accepted as I believe I could only have 3 rejected.

I have had 3 refused out of my last 250 uploads.  I never upload more than a few at a time.  Maybe that is the answer, don't overwhelm them with huge batches. Reviewing is usually done in a couple of hours so it's easy to hold the images back until the first batch is reviewed.

I like this idea of trying small batches to them ... I will give it a try as they do usually review within twelve hours ...
