Do I understand that correctly that the more network connections you have and a buyer searches not only your images but the ones across your network it takes more time to find the images across those connections?

I'm asking since my knowledge of how things like this work is extremely limited and the more I dive into doing this the more I would like to understand.

Has anyone successfully integrated a background image?  I was trying to do that now but did not realize that all of the navigations and where text stuff goes was completely transparent.  I've been working with the child theme and over-riding the main SY theme but I don't think it's going to work out at all.  So I may have to ditch the idea.

I'm thinking about taking that image and putting a white background right in the middle or redoing it altogether.  I'm open to any suggestions.

I understand now.  Just frustrated that I have to wait due to lack of funds.

Though I hate to drag up threads that are over a month old I didn't want to start a new one.

I'm not using the child theme but the regular SY theme and can't find which file to edit.  The CTA template doesn't have anything in there to change the spans and I'm not sure which css file I need to use if it's driven by that.  The matching of the two columns bothers my eyes.  Unless there's a way to make it one column and move the sidebar content above the footer.

Results: On the current free plan that I'm on large jpgs don't process at all.  Not sure about other features since image processing is my main concern at the moment
Info: I'll be staying with them and pay for a standard account next month to see if that fixes the processing problem.  If not, I'll go with someone else.

I've been messing with it all night and have come to the conclusion that I can't do it where my site's hosted.  So I'm going to have to wait until next month to get a paid host (course I could pay for hosting there as well at $3.99/month for their standard plan.  I doubt I'd go over 250 gigs worth of traffic a month but I could always upgrade after that.

Course I could just start working on the layout and stuff until I can get that handled.  Like I haven't driven myself insane enough with that today.

I just have the one but once I move the site to a different host I might have to go with 2 or 3 just to separate things out for myself.

I don't think I can change my servers php.ini file I haven't been able to find it.  Or is it just the wp-config file that I need to edit?

If it's the ini then I have to find somewhere else to do this at.

Thanks.  You guys will probably get annoyed at me after a bit   I've already ran into my first issue but need to check it and see if I can fix it myself.

My issue corrected itself or I didn't do things in the right order but it's working just need to change some images and then I can get going on it.

Got it.  I forgot I could use subdomains oy!  I hope I don't have to start over again (not that I've gotten very far).  I'll just re-install to that domain if I could ever settle on the sub's name.

I've already got a site that I use for other things such as my writing and I just installed WP and the Symbiostock theme.  Since I have it installed within my site is that going to affect things like search within Google and getting the site indexed properly?

I've been looking around to see if anyone else has done it that way but haven't found one.  Would like to hear your thoughts and comments about doing it this way.

I do appreciate the work that went into this and it's a lot better than what I was thinking about doing on my own a few months ago.  Which goes to show what being offline for nearly four months can do.

How can you even tell how many downloads you get there over the past 12 months.  I'm not going to take the money and get an average.
