I am having a similar routine as you do. And I am waiting for a payout myself. Last month it didn't take this long. Guess time to contact support here as well.

Thanks for pointing wiseacre out to us, ale1969 and sharply_done. Took a minute to look at the port and really liked it.

I was surprised to see the changes last night and felt its effect already twice. I had one XL sale for 5 credits and one of my exclusive images there sold for 4 credits for a small instead of 2.

Overall a BME, even though it didn't look like that at the beginning of the month. Overall my earnings increased by 36% compared to December 07. Today marks my 1st anniversary of being in microstock - so I do not have any comparative data to years before. But the increase is right about where Yuri predicted it to be. SS 35,0% (BME helped by one EL) FT 29,0% (BME) IS 27,1% (a little disappointing, number of downloads was a 3rd less than in December, income was better though) DT 8,4% (BME - but I am still building my portfolio over there) LO 0,5% (after 4 months of not selling anything - I just had another sale - but I wonder if it is worth uploading - the return for uploading at DT is much better).

ldambies-with the way things are going this week you could be right. And if yesterday would be an indicator, this could actually become a BME for me. But I keep my fingers crossed for you too! Maybe miracles happen.

I have the same goal as Dan and ldambies - breaking the 200$. I am about 40$ away. Shutterstock is in the lead due to an EL, Fotolia is doing surprisingly well - I had 8 DLs there yesterday (it's been a while). Istock is a bit slower than the last months so far and my DT port is rather small. Let's see if the 200$ barrier can be made.

Typical Scottish Weather it is ... mine was taken May 28, 2007 - but apparently from the roof of the same museum.

ldambies - I looked through parts of your portfolio on mostphotos and saw that one of your pictures looked very similar to one of mine. Either this was typical Edinburgh weather or we must have been at the same place at around the same time. This is my picture: And this is yours at mostphotos: Found this coincidence quite funny... .

when I applied at istock, I found that a bit weird too, because I didn't feel ok about revealing data they do not need. I contacted istock about it and they told me I could black out any information they did not request. So I did - and joined.

But since I imagine that it just reveals the last search term used before an image purchase they obviously found the image when viewing my image of a concrete road (which they purchased right beforehand) using the word concrete. It is good to know, that buyers check out portfolios too, not just use the search... .

read about it in August 2006, signed up to Istock same month, bought digital camera in November 2006, started submitting (after reading this forum) in February 2007, sold my first picture 9 days later... .

Sales were down by 14% in Dezember. Most losses were at Istock, but I really had a superb month there in November. I had a good month at Fotolia though and my best month ever at Dreamstime (but I am still increasing my portfolio there...).

A gobshite is typically one who exerts undue influence over a discussion as we've seen here. Basically a pathetic little power tripper who's neurotic censorship raises his head at the first hint of controversy.
Case in point:
Why wasn't this thread removed and numerous others like it? It's because we have an Norwegian idiot who deletes virtually every post this journalist makes under the guise of censorship. Go check out the link and it'll prove just how much of a two-faced gobshite leaf actually is... LOL

I feel your tone is out of line ... . I would be happy to see this post removed too.

In October I started a new job and I do not have much time to devote to microstock. I hope to add 100-200 pics to my portfolio at FT,SS and IS - and fully upload my existing portfolio to DT. I hope to have a steady income from microstock of around 250-300 Euros each month. By the end of this year, this seems to be in reach - a dream would be to earn 5000 Euros/year from microstock... .
Wonderful holidays to all of you! And all the best for 2008! May you reach your goals!

Fotolia 25,35% Istock 46,71% (BME) Shutterstock 24,02% Lucky Oliver 0,00% Dreamstime 3,92%
Overall another BME - by about 1 $. Earnings at IS were great, earnings at SS not so great, but I did not upload anything between October and late November... .
