Hi There Luis Just a quick thank you for registering on our site! We noticed that you haven’t yet browsed through and downloaded any of our images. This means that we have failed and not given you what you were looking for! We would love to hear how we can do better. Please feel free to tell us what you would like us to improve on we would greatly appreciate that:) Reply in a short (or long) email with a reason as to why you did not buy anything, and we will review your answer. As a small thank you for just being honest with us, we will credit your account with between $5 and $100. Great feedback and suggestions will result in a bigger bonus, but a one-line simple reason will also be considered. You can use the amount we give you yourself or give it to a friend or college who uses images for their projects more often. We look forward to hearing what we did wrong and/or what we can do better. Kind Regards Lucy Galant Customer Support Consultant peopleimages.com +27 21 813 9813

seriously, are you celebrating a 150$ sale when you have done 78k in 2 months?

for the ones that don´t read that often on FT forum take a look at the following link: http://www.fotolia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=579103 ...There is some sort of algorithm that prioritizes contributors that upload more frequently.
This is key bit of information. I have stopped submitting for several weeks and my sales everywhere have been pretty normal (for June), with one exception: Fotolia. There, sales fell off a cliff. My 7-Day rank suddenly (over a few days) dropped over 150 positions. Nothing remotely like this has happened to me there before. And I, as is said, all other sites are normal.
Yesterday I submitted five images and my FT sales jumped back up to almost normal.
Fololia's algorithm must kick in after a certain number of days of not submitting, and move your search engine results way, way back. Something to keep in mind.
we have around the same number of new files in the last 6 months and I haven´t felt any down on sales, they have been climbing since first month, that said I am only silver with 150 to 200 sales per month, I believe it has something related to ranking too

Warren let agencies delete your pictures, don´t do it unless you are going to drop them in a near future

I don´t see any problem with some cleaning but I see this as a "bad joke" actually, first they are wasting money on reviewing again what they should have done before, second they had our portfolios for many years and have delivered very few sales..
they should have done it properly before and spend this "reviewing money" on getting more buyers which is what they need, not the greatest stock collection around all agencies

congrats! Wish you the best for your own site, I think everyone should have his own site!
I agree but what for? not even small/new agencies can compete with top agencies, how can us alone or even a few selected contributors open an agency and succeed? we have many examples of that situation being reported in this forum, only a few exceptions get to another level

"doesn't look like a proper way to announce a new agency" It so happened. I do not dare call the site for the friends - Microstock NEW . I'm sorry - I use auto-translation. I did not understand the second part of the message
ah I see! what I am saying is that when somebody open a new agency, they should annouce it, not the way you have done, they need also to tell us a little about their background and what will be our royalties.. very weird you aren't understanding once you have pictures in microstock agencies

I just noticed that we can register as "sellers", thats your website or an agency?
Now the agency. I'm tested and incorporated this feature
if so why haven´t you said on the initial post?
I was planning this site for themselves and their friends. Then I checked out all the functions and have the opportunity to take up more disk space for files. And I decided - why not
doesn´t look like a proper way to announce a new agency but thats up to your client, that said there is nothing talking about royalties % and such

In fact, I have been steadily uploading like clockwork for pretty much four years, and my earnings charts for FT (and DT) look like a steady climb up a mountain, then all of a sudden falling into a valley a few months ago. Same here. uploading like clockwork for pretty much seven years. and sudden falling into a valley. They are not telling us the truth!
I haven´t said that, you have wrongly quoted

yes there is something odd about this place, partners or not, nobody seem to know anybody who is ever selling anything there. Yet their interface, uploading, etc, is first class. Weird.
there is a page reporting their latest sales ( https://www.zoonar.com/best-seller-photos), mostly from Yuri and Dash that said it haven´t changed much from yesterday,if I am not wrong about 8 sales since yesterday

I'm a big supporter of the PNG format. I've loaded up most of my portfolio as PNGs at Dreamstime with their additional format option. I sell about one or two a day mostly as subs, but they might have chosen it because of the format. You never know. As a buyer, it would always be my favorite choice of formats.
does that mean you are selling them for 35/70 cents?

for the ones that don´t read that often on FT forum take a look at the following link: http://www.fotolia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=579103Hi guys,
There have been a lot of posts about sales trends changing for contributors so I did some poking around and got confirmation on something I think most of you will find interesting.
In order to maintain priority placement in the database you do need to consistently upload and submit images. The more you submit the better your chances of visibility. If it's been several months (or years) since your last upload there is a good chance that the sales of your existing images will taper off as they will be pushed back deeper in the search. There is some sort of algorithm that prioritizes contributors that upload more frequently.
What that means is that you cannot expect to passively succeed. You need to constantly work on your images and uploading. The harder you work, the greater your success. I have noticed this in my portfolio here and it's my intent to get off my butt and start shooting more and shooting better.
Good luck and happy shooting!
Mat
