You would have to modify code for that. I just tested this out and it appears to work on my site:
// jas begin add strip_tags() to output of alt text (title) for menu items in case code added for icon or the like $atts['title'] = ! empty( $item->title ) ? strip_tags($item->title) : ''; // jas end
The change needs to be made in nav_walker_description.php which is in wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes

It's the bootstrap classes that use the font awesome fonts - see font-awesome.css

User satisfaction with Creative Cloud dropping in survey of Adobe customers: http://news.investors.com/technology-click/121113-682544-adobe-systems-set-to-report-q4-earnings.htmAnd as that is written for investors, not customers, they don't mind putting "The move to a cloud business model holds the promise of higher lifetime revenue per customer, as users switch to paying a monthly subscription fee rather than buying software products outright....." They don't discuss why customer satisfaction fell, but I'm guessing it's the realization that it's the same old Adobe and the hope that there'd be lots of really useful new stuff hasn't quite panned out that way. And I'm in the "over my dead body" group, happily using CS6

You just add something like the following (I just tested this particular one with my home menu) to the menu text in WordPress
<i class="icon-beer"> </i>Home search the CSS for available class names

I just received a reply from contributor support, and from the attached message from me I can see it was a reply to the support ticket I made earlier today on their site.
"Dear Contributor, Thank you for contacting Submission @ 123RF.
You query is currently being attended to and we will respond to you as soon as possible once we have further information. If your payment request is valid, we will try to expedite payment to you as soon as possible before Christmas.
Best Regards,
Your Submissions & Review Team"
There was a name underneath - a "Contributor Support Executive"
IF my request is valid?
First, I'm not new to this game and I know how things work and wouldn't have complained about not receiving payment except if I had a valid request.
Second, there's nothing that gets a complaining person's ire roused faster than failing to say "sorry" and suggesting perhaps they did something wrong that caused the problem. Plus, it takes me about 30 seconds to check my earnings for November - why does it take you longer?
Third, you'll "try"? This isn't some game, but a business. You know how to make these payments - you've been doing it successfully for years. It's outrageous that we wait 15 days after the end of the month, IMO - Shutterstock can do it in a week or less and there is no reason you can't either. But then, when something goes wrong, you don't seem to be treating this with any urgency at all.
Fourth, a month or two back when just one contributor's payment got messed up, he was charged PayPal fees when he did receive his payment. The thinking was that Mass Pay was used for the regular payments but not for his late payment. I want to make it clear that I expect to be paid the full amount with no fees deducted.
In case you can't tell from the above, I'm very, very angry about the way you're handling this. Everyone makes mistakes now and then, but it's the response to it that is so offhand and unnecessarily brusque. Alex saying "while we iron things out at our side" is as close as we've come so far to an admission that 123rf has made a mistake - be upfront with us and treat us as if paying us on time is important to you.

They have been sending out email to people they invited to contribute. They're definitely still around.

I can send email, but would you please explain what's going on. It's very disconcerting that you cannot or will not elaborate.

Even if the 17th is the new date, it's now Dec 18th at InMagine headquarters and close of business on Dec 17th here on the west coast US.
I didn't get any reply to my customer support ticket - one person posted above that they did get a response, but I don't know when that ticket was submitted. Did anyone else even get a response from support acknowledging the ticket?

I came upon some job postings for InMagine headquarters, including one for Web Developers, and I found this description of the company to be amusing: "Inmagine's core strength is built by our wonderful team of talented and performance-driven young professionals, lead by our enigmatic founders. Equipped with skills and a penchant for history in the making, Inmagineers are in the culture and habit of creating new ideas and intuitive solutions." enigmatic founders? I doubt they really mean that, but "difficult to interpret or understand; mysterious." is how I'd describe quietly extending the time to pay contributors

If they've changed the date without notifying contributors, they should be given a dope slap - how hard is it to send out an e-mail about that? Yes, it's been the 15th for ages.
So, in addition to their toxic scheme for RC for royalties, they want to nickel and dime us by adding an extra two days to the payout? It's already ridiculous in the age of computers, databases and the internet that they want us to wait 15 days from the end of the month for payment.
The only reason for this is to increase their profits. One more anti-contributor move, and they don't even have the decency to be up front about it?

I hadn't realized that I didn't get my payment until I read this - PayPal.
Will contact support - it has been ages since 123rf messed up payments, and the fact that some people got paid and others didn't is rather odd

I have some images of skin problems on a mature woman that sell quite well - but they're about the skin problems, not about something else where the skin looks icky. If it's not a glamor shot, I think that it's a fine line to walk but you want to leave in things that make it look real while taking out things that are just distractions.

As for the download subs, it's not much point in discussing this in depth before I can give you any actual numbers. But, compared with the largest provider and the main source of income for many photographers - Shutterstock: If you look at Shutterstocks numbers on earnings ($2.35 for each image downloaded) and their commission ($0.25 -$0.38), the commission actually paid is from 9% to 16%. To end with the same $-commission our customers must on average download 130-200 images each, each month. Our numbers indicate that the average will be much lower, giving you not only a fairer cut of 50% of our earnings, but also a higher price per download. But this discussion will be more meaningful when I can give you real numbers on average download and average commission for each download. Our first numbers should be ready in mid-February, but we should get a good indication during January. Currently the average is around 20 images and the commission around $3-4 per image, but the subs haven't run a full month yet and the mix of digital and print can change.
First, 123rf tried this model at the very beginning - a 50% royalty on the sale and you get a share based on the number of your images downloaded, but they had to switch to a floor of xx cents per sale because the numbers were too low and contributors started walking. Second, your take on Shutterstock is based on an apparent misunderstanding of their business. Most of us make most of our money from Shutterstock from things other than subscription sales (where the royalty is much higher than 25 to 38 cents). Their average download number includes those non subscription sales and thus your percentages are way off.

... And thats why weve created our streaming option - we want to give people an easy to use, affordable priced online image solution. We havent looked at other stock image prices when developing our Streaming product, but on other online products such as Spotify, Netflix, Wordpress etc.
We're launching it in January, and this is a brand new site with a new product aimed at online users with our streaming option. ...
And see how well services like Spotify are working from the artists' point of view http://readwrite.com/2013/12/06/streaming-music-competition-pandora-rdio-spotify#awesm=~oq8kIDygYYUGi6

I'm about to set up a Synology disk station for backup and storage. The unit also has website hosting capabilities, so I want to know if this would be Symbio compatible?
See here for information on how it works:http://www.synology.com/en-global/support/tutorials/480
Thanks
It lists WordPress as one of the tested apps, so that's a start ImageMagick as the image processor isn't listed, but can't see any reason it wouldn't work. I'd suggest you see if you can find reports of other users successfully operating WordPress sites on this platform (what you wouldn't want is a trail of reports that it sort of works but this or that plugin doesn't). If that looks good, why not give it a try and let us know what happens?

i'm just guessing here, but i think you can do that, having one symbio site/gallery with several contributors by making them an admin?
That's fine as long as there is one PayPal account into which all the money goes. The original post mentioned multiple PayPal accounts

I've done that here. There's also the Facebook Page and if you'd like to put together a blurb for Michele to have you be site of the day on the Facebook page, you can do that and I'll post it for you in this thread

Yeah, you're right. I can't register
If you would like, I can add your note to the new site thread on your behalf. That would allow other people to add you if they think there's a good match. And you can add sites you think make sense without waiting for others - it's not necessarily reciprocal. Perhaps look through the global search engine to find images you think are a good fit and then add those sites - the site owner will get e-mail saying you've added them as a network partner.

So your question has nothing to do with Symbiostock? Perhaps a moderator can move this to a better location if that's the case.
I'm not sure how editorial use of any building could be a problem, but I'm not an expert in this area. I do know that the agencies get to make rules about what they will and won't accept in a certain category which may not reflect the legal realities but just their tolerance for risk.

Some people who have seen this bug have made it go away by disabling the cart manager plugin - this isn't needed for buyers to use the cart
Can you try that to see if you get 24 images per page as you should?
