25 too.. pictures waiting for review for over a month.. 1 month is usual there but more than that is just too much no Veer?

I have a little bit of inside first hand knowledge that you will not like what you are going to hear about rejections and the reviewers and the process.

So we are in for a long ride people so buckle up.

Whenever I have a lot of photos from a single shoot, I submit them in batches over a period of a year.  Avoids the dreaded "too many" rejections.    

DT and most sites store everything we upload for an indefinite period of time, so I'll upload the shoot all at once and then slowly process them during the year.  I haven't noticed the processing delay affecting search placement or sales.  

no it doesn´t, they look in your portfolio, they go back and search those keywords, if they find they will say you have already online.. (talking about too many or similar rejections)

I would love to understand some agencies but its kind of hard actually.. DT is on the top of that list for sure..

I have recently shoot a rally in Ireland I went to watch, over 50 cars on 3 different places... that said I have uploaded to SS which have approved all of them, same goes for 123RF, DP and a few other too.. only DT has now a new rejection type:

Please submit only those images from this series that fit the event better. We consider that 3-5 images per event can tell the full story, and by submitting less you will certainly focus on quality (this is always preferred) while covering up an event.

another problem is their approval ratio which hurts when we have more rejections..

for the first batch 70 pictures, 34 got rejected.. not to mention they took over 10 days to review them..

yep I know they (rally pics) won´t make me rich, no need to tell me

No way, don't do it!  They can change the metadata and claim the image as their own.  That is a shocking request in my opinion.

I pretty much agree, I have worked 6 days in May, when I say have worked is basically the days I have edited pics and keyword, not uploading or shooting.. that said what concerns me is what income I will have on the following months and that is quite hard to predict despite bme etc...

Hunger Games is surprisingly good with a second layer of meaning that is very interesting. Recommended.
Dark Shadows, usual Tim Burton and Johnny Depp gothic movie, good as usual.

Dark Shadows was very dissapointing.. the argument is weak in my opinion, the make up, direction, photography, wardrobe are quite interesting, I was hoping for a lot more..

guess not, actually I mostly care about rejections at SS/IS, only agencies I do resubmit

it would be interesting to see which pictures we will sell for FB, at least it would be easier to control, that said we aren´t paid for that..

if a blogger gets a picture for his FB and then use it on his blog how will DT control such thing? (I guess this ain´t allowed right?)

I would get rid of the low/non sellers except for Alamy, you don't need them anymore.

on the last six months I haven´t uploaded that much, the last 2 I have been traveling a lot in Ireland, thats very true Wim, that said I got around 600 approved at SS but over 200 were approved just a couple of weeks ago which are editorial from a rally I went to see/shoot
