I would stay away from non-english keywords on any "international" site - with the possible exception of PantherMedia. My English - and yours too, propably - might not be perfect, but it sure is a * sight better than what comes out of Fotolia's, Shutterstock's or anyone else's automatic translation. I think that most customers use English keywords in searches, an exception being PantherMedia as written above and maybe to a certain extent Fotolia were I regularly see sales to French customers...

Your pre-V2 images are found with the first 7 keywords only, right? Yes, you are correct: As soon as I use a keyword after the 7th the files are gone again - so in the files I tried it works like this: keyword 1 + keyword 2: file found keyword 6 + keyword 7: file found keyword 6 + keyword 7 + keyword 8: file not found keyword 8 + keyword 9: file not found

my images from V1 were fixed several months ago when I contacted support. Did you have to supply the numbers of all images that were not found, or did you just write something along the lines of "Please fix my portfolio..."?
It was done for all portfolio, I didn't provide them each individual number
To tell the - happy - ending of this story: I wrote a friendly site mail to support regarding my pictures not being found, they forwarded it to the technical staff and yesterday some kind soul pushed the magic button My pre-V2 photos that were lost are being found again... *Wanders off, singing happily: "I once was lost, but now I'm found...."*

I dont know, but take this example:
http://www.fotolia.com/id/7016486
keywords "dual" and "tube" are on the last place, and "dual tube" find this image. (and all keywords in this image works. Try it. Open my portfolio and try to find this image by any of its keywords, it works.)
Maybe some old images from V1 cant be found, but since V2 it works.
I didn't doubt you words, I just wanted to point out that all is not well in Fotolia's search engine and that there are still files which don't get found, no matter where their keywords are ranked. And yes, you are right, my example is pre-V2...

...but most commonly used words will be found, no matter on which place are they. That's good to hear, but I don't understand why a search for "running hare" (or "running and hare", or "running, hare") only finds a grand total of 13 photos - not including this one: http://www.fotolia.com/search?k=1104453&order=relevance - former bestseller of mine, I might add Keywords "running" and "hare" are right on top of the list and separated of course....

But I'm looking at the ranks (total and 7 days) and they seem to point a general slowdown? Same here, I sold 2 XS-licenses yesterday which brought my 7-days-rank up from 860-something to 730-something... My March total looks very good so far, but only because some nice guy or girl decided to by 12 XL-licenses in a single sweep - definitely something that does not happen each month

I just discovered that they offer FTP-upload now, it has to be requested via e-mail, though. So all the sites I'm uploading to now support FTP - with the sad exception of IS, of course

Scanstock has increased a lot for me this year, more than 300%, and although it's still among the smaller ones, it's way in front of players like 123rf and Crestock. Same here, in February I sold a grand total of 8 photos there, outselling both Bigstock and Canstock ...and since we are talking Euros here, Scanstock made me more money than Bigstock and Canstock combined - go Scanstock, you rock - whooay I don't think that part of the site is missing, they just redesigned it - V2 so to speak - after logging in there is a link called "Photographers" in the top menu from which you will find your sold pictures, uploadlist, etc - took me a while to find, too...
