Hi, just checking if anyone else has this problem : On my Dashboard at Graphic Leftovers, there's a "request payout" button (top right). Whenever I click on that button, I get an error page saying "Page not found - Please try another page". Well, I don't WANT to try another page, I just want my money After a few weeks hoping they would fix this, I contacted support, and they replied that I should give them my password, so that they could do the requesting for me. ? Does this mean I'm the only one with this problem? If it were a general bug, I'd think they would try to fix the bug instead of offering to send the request for me?

BMY here too, and 2% up from 2012, but I don't have any hopes that this will continue, because the excellent sales were due to exceptional situations : - BMY at SS : because I had an image in the homepage lightbox at SS for one week - BMY at DST : because I sold the rights of an image at $ 600 ($ 300 commission) - BMY at BS : because of that one day with 4 EL's at once
without those lucky hits, I would have had overall -10% compared to last year, mainly caused by Fotolia, GLO and Rodeo.

No, I always do Fotolia separately, without using LB.

I usually use it with success, but today I cannot even log in. I get this error message after typing my password :
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 144 Table './lburner_lb2@002dops/MediaProfiles' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed' in /home/lburner/public_html/app/include/Search.php:137 Stack trace: #0 /home/lburner/public_html/app/include/Search.php(137): PDOStatement->execute() #1 /home/lburner/public_html/app/include/Search.php(19): Search->init() #2 /home/lburner/public_html/app/controller/search.php(5): Search->__construct(Object(Savant3), Array) #3 /home/lburner/public_html/app/action.php(141): require_once('/home/lburner/p...') #4 {main} thrown in /home/lburner/public_html/app/include/Search.php on line 137
I'm copying this error message because I cannot send the message through Lightburner, and I would really like to keep on using it. Any other way of reaching him if you cannot log in?

I had 3 EL's yesterday (and 1 earlier this month).

May be Thinkstock was down for three days , I have the same hole in the month. Also, PP results are much lower than January, but I remember that the January PP sales came in 2 batches, so may be there's more coming.

Seems a bit buggy. (mac/safari) Page won't load fully and when you scroll back to the top the header and images disappear. Other than that...
A BIT buggy? The site won't open at all for me ... all it says is "this page can't be displayed" ... and I'm soooo curious!!

I ticked "full time and doing well", but in fact I'm a fulltime photographer, not a fulltime STOCK photographer. 25% of my income comes from commissioned photography work.

Today I had 25 credit sales returned at Depositphotos. That's almost the total downloads of several days. I suppose this cannot be just my photos. Any one else having lots of returned sales today at DP ?

Same here. I use Lightburner, and most of the time it really saves time and bandwidth. It works well for Shutterstock, Dreamstime, Depositphotos, (Istock) and Graphicleftovers. Most of the time it does not work well for Fotolia, Canstock and 123rf. It does not let you track what went were. You do receive an email as soon as everything is sent, but that does not mean it actually did arrive, you have to check that for yourself. I always delete my photos there after distributing to all agencies, but it is supposed to track sales too (I don't use that feature).

I do post images on Facebook, but always watermarked ones. Also, customers who receive a dvd after a photo session, will find 2 versions on this dvd : 1 high resolution image for printing, and 1 web format watermarked version for facebook and other social media. I am pleased to find out that most of my customers use the watermarked version when they post my photos (of their baby etc) on facebook.

Well, mine were clearly intended for commercial use, as there was a model involved ... (not selling very well to be honest).

Don't forget famous toms almost always have statues/statuettes, made by an artist. So the artist should be dead 75 years before you can use an image of the tomb commercially. Because of that, I never photograph tombs with dates after 1850 (75yrs + average age 80y).

I don't use it and it's really not such a nuisance to use the paper version anyway. If ever I encounter a dispute with a model, I will have enough worry about the content of the contract/dispute, and I don't want to wonder if the digital MR was legally binding or not. Even if I am convinced that it's legally binding, lawyers might want to investigate that, which will cost more time, money and stress.

I never compare with the previous month, always with the same month last year. But you're right, Feb12 had 1 (working) day less than Feb13.

Without Alamy, I had 1% growth (dollars) compared to February 2013, which is surprisingly good as I had a read bad January. SS : down 3% (lack of OD's, less downloads too) IS : down 8% without TS, I expect 33% growth with TS sales come in (which is still 45% below BME!!) DST : status quo thanks to 1 EL FT : down 19% !! GLO : status quo BIG : down 23% !! 132rf : up 84% (success both in EL's and in regular sales) DP : up 400% (but I only started in 2012) CAN : up 64% (nice surprise!) Rodeo : down 78%! They relaunched the site, but my new files from July have not been accepted yet!! So the month was really saved by 123rf, DP, CAN and ... I hate to say it : probably by TS too. I expect the worst for March : last year's March was a BME for me, so I'll probably not be able to beat that, and also : Easter falls in March this year, so I'll put my bets on April

Sorry I started this. I just wanted to say I admire the vector guys/girls. Probably because I can't draw and I envy them. We photogs are not less talented, but our talents are completely different, and sometimes the grass is a bit greener on the other side of the fence. I would LOVE to be able to draw and make vectors (but I also love photography).

I send link to my portfolio, but it's just vectors. I got no feedback yet. Does anyone know if they will work with vectors?
"just" vectors? I've always considered you vector guys/girls as true artists (compared to us humble photographers) ...

So it looks I'm the first one that was rejected..:S ->
Your Stocksy application was declined. Our Editors felt that your images weren't what we were looking for in our collection. It was a difficult decision because you are obviously a very talented artist. We wish you the best in your future endeavours and we would be happy to look at your portfolio again next year.
I've submitted 10 images, technically perfect -6 people(yoga,tablet..) -2 technology -1 3d -1 food
I really don't know what are they looking for;)
Good luck to everyone that applied;)
Why did you submit 10 images instead of sending a link to your portfolio ?

The trouble, Anyka, is that I will still need to supply my main outlets while I find out if Stocksy can go anywhere. I can't afford to put all my work into one new site and neglect the others. Am I going to put my best work on a site with no track record as an exclusive offering or am I going to put the best stuff at the proven money-makers and put second-rate stuff with stocksy?
That's indeed the trouble BaldricksTrousers, but it's not just YOUR (or my) trouble, it's also Stocksy's problem. If they want unique photos and a high volume collection, they need to find a way to attract people like you, make you want to send your best stuff even before they become a big success.

With image exclusivity, Stocksy has the advantage that every single image in the collection can only be found at Stocksy. But on the other hand it also means that their collection will grow very slowly. I cannot imagine that many independents will cancel their accounts, or delete a large part of their (best) files in order to move them to Stocksy. I do expect they will send Stocksy lots of good new stuff, simply because its easier. But if most contributors only send new stuff, it will take quite a while before Stocksy reaches its first million images. What will buyers do? Even if they really believe in the co-op concept, they will not just cancel their account(s) with their old agency(ies) and jump over to Stocksy, simply because Stocksy does not have all subjects covered (yet). Hopefully they will put Stocksy on top of their list, start every search there.

I guess there's two levels of being ignored - one as a contributor and the second with the "launching soon" e-mail No e-mail for me.
Nobody is getting ignored as a contributor, because the e-mail asks for a link to one's portfolio. So they don't even look at your images before sending the e-mail. Are you sure you sent a working e-mail address without typo's when you hit the "I am curious" button?
