The site is basically about the partners, I don't think Zoonar itself promotes itself much. I don't know if you guys are opted in with any of the partners, but if you're not, I think there's not much chance of getting too many sales.

Errors can occur, in this case twice. What I like about this is that despite the amounts being inconsequential, they go through with telling the contributors about it and then correcting it, and then correcting it again when they realise there was nothing to correct I can't be sure if the agencies I use are telling me about errors which affect me negatively, unless one day I receive a deposit and an explanation saying that it was because of an error.

England wasn't great, but i havn't seen them play well in ages. They have one of the strongest leagues in the world, but the national team is never really convincing. England never give any priority to their national side. The league is where the money is, big money. The league is great partly because of the talent from around the world. It's a long and intensive season, with no winter break (some countries have them, I think). Preparing for the national team is always an afterthought, which is a shame. Countries like Germany take their national side more seriously and consequently always do better. I've never seen England win a major tournament and I'm not likely to unless we take it seriously.

I bet for a tie in England vs Italy, with Italy winning the shootout.
How much did you win
I agree with Luis, it was such a boring game, both sides played badly. Italy probably deserved to win, but they weren't great.
Were you watching football for the second time in your life? Italy was great, instead of playing their cautious, defensive football, they were attacking all the time, creating chances for them non stop, having 3 chances within 5-6 seconds once, hitting the woodwork a few times...England's performance beyond first half was poor, I agree with that. But in the first half both teams played well, creating chances for themselves and both teams almost scored within the first 5 minutes, that's something we haven't seen so far in EURO 2012. Such important games usually start very slowly and cautiously.
Um no. Some of the earliest memories I have are watching football. Italy did not play great, they played a poor England and couldn't score in 120 minutes of open play. They simply were not great.

My 123RF sales have increased quite a bit over the past couple of months. Still only about 15% of what I'm doing at SS, but still very much worth my time. If sales stay on track, I should be able to make the 45% tier when commissions change. That's great. Seems like they're growing so much giving 50% to everyone. It just seems so right that we should reward them by giving them more.
Next.
Think you made the point a few posts back. So no positive comments till 2013, right? Do not upload further to punish them? Yes, why not? I am sure I can take the 30% drop in revenue from my second largest seller with a smile for the rest of the year.
Let us not be reasonable and see how things pan out over the next six months, till possible implementation. Come on, take the lead and delete all your images right now and teach them a lesson....
Next.
The point I was making. Being able to reach 45% isn't really a positive if you're on 50% now.

They're growing for me also, I might barely notice the commissions cuts next year and if they keep on growing further, well they can just cut again and I still won't notice much change. Yay! Lets just keep reporting back how happy we are to encourage them further

Serban once said the forum presence was a factor in the best match.
I believe that was an April 1 post though.
I sure hope it isn't a factor. Looking at my posts/income, my month with the most posts was one of my lowest incomes. I think most of my posts were complaining about commission cuts though.
In the past there was something about the DT contributor that effected the placement a lot because you would often see a whole string of images from the same contributor in a search.
Found this, written on April 1, 2010. "You might not have thought of this but yes, messages and posts also count." http://blog.dreamstime.com//2010/04/01//the-search-engine-revealed_art32040haha, I haven't laughed this much much since watching The Ring.

Serban once said the forum presence was a factor in the best match.
I'm sure he meant kissing up to them in the forum was a factor in the best match. I doubt the posts I've made recently have done me any good.
In April I made a lot of posts, mostly venting about at the new commission structure etc. Turned out to be a good month. There are many other things I can complain about, so I might set to work. On a more serious note, if forum activity also plays a factor in search, no matter how small the factor, well that's just silly. The only worse thing I heard was when both Yay and CC started making a factor of the number of FB 'likes' on images, a little over a a year ago. I don't know if they still do it.

this is just great!
1 - they tell you that nobody is buying pictures, they are getting them on google, free sites or even cleaning watermark 2 - the demand on pictures is HUGE 3 - buyer will get it for free but they will pay you 1 cent (money from ads)
why are we going to "sell" our work for 1 cent if we can get a ton more
I am sure this wont go anywhere, perhaps only snappers shooting cats and dogs on PS cameras
Now you can earn money from your rejected and non-downloaded images on other microstock sites which is probably 2/3 of your images.
who . is doing stock if they get 67% of their pics rejected??
No, they say, "over two thirds of your images are either rejected or never downloaded". We don't know where they get this figure from though. There's no contact form, email address or number on their site. To sign up they ask for your phone number. Both of these things would be big warning signs to the average person. They list free photo sites, they show ways of stealing images (for people who don't already know). It's pretty transparent that these guys don't give a f*ck about the artists, so they may end up doing very well.

That's what I'm dreading

Good news - watermark has been moved to the center of image.
It depends on the image, there are still plenty of images with the watermark in the top left hand corner. I deleted my small port there because of the new watermark placing, I'm not going to bother to upload again there.

I was going to comment on this thread earlier, but I just thought I'd make you wait I had a response from ss once which was a month, I think. 7 months is really something though. Some agencies don't reply at all though, others say they will do the requested, but never end up doing it.

Wow must have dug down deep to find this 6 year old thread.
6 Years are a very short time in the life of microstock.
Are you kidding?? 6 years is a short time in geologic time. It's an eternity in microstock time.
6 years ago 123rf wouldn't dare to cut royalties for anyone!

Yeah try one of the foreign banks, dress smart. Try contacting the agency by phone and ask them to wire the money, minus any charges. Make sure you mention how much you like the agency and promote them.
Hope u find a solution.

If there is no bank that can cash your check, I'm clueless. If you have a friend in a country who can cash the check for you and then pay you back, that might be a solution. But the check would have to be written in his name. I'm kind of surprised that you supplied an agency but didn't enquire beforehand methods of being paid.
Must be tough though being a citizen of a sanctioned country and trying to do things like this, which the rest of us take for granted.

Hmmmm... interesting stuff.... but I notice that at 123 the basic sub is 36c. At FT most sales are 23 or 27 cents - surely even worse. Any thoughts? I've abandoned uploading to FT as the rates are SO low and the upload process such a pain. But the 123 commission planned cut also stinks....
This will be the subs next year. 12 Month Credit Total Earnings Per Download (Subscription)0 - 249 $0.216 250 - 999 $0.252 1,000 - 1,999 $0.288 2,000 - 4,999 $0.324 5,000 - 19,999 $0.360 20,000 - 49,999 $0.374 50,000 - 99,999 $0.389 100,000 - 499,999 $0.403 500,000 - 999,999 $0.418 1,000,000 and above $0.432
