If you believe in conspiracy theories - take a look at this thread.
Somehow I missed the response between the two last posts when I was screen grabbing.
Then "poof" the whole thread went missing. Gone from the group FB page.
Apparently, if you are the thread creator on FB, if you delete it all disappears.
Our "Facebook employee" took their own thread down when I called them out.
What do you guys make of this?
I saw some of her posts. Im pretty sure she was a FB/SS spy. But posts are getting flagged in a lot of FB groups (not just related to microstock) as being spam or goes against community standards, when they are not. I personally think it has to do with who FB does business with. I think they are monitoring groups closely that revolve around their ties to that industry. FB is aligned with SS, FB aligned themselves with pHARMa, like that.
I hope quoting this makes it stay, in case people change what they wrote. FB/SS spies? And trying to infiltrate the group? Really, like someone is so stupid that they couldn't just create a quiet account to watch. Let me help, a spy likes to work in secret not in your face and arguing, attracting attention to their devious plans and plots.
Yes, You can remove posts and comments that you have made on Facebook. You can remove comments others have made on something you've posted, but you cannot delete comments they've left on posts you didn't create. This is also quite ordinary and doesn't need any special access or authority.
I f I am correct FB is collecting also post or comment if you are not publishing or deleting before posting. If you just typing.

one image I don't get/understand is - the white block that is partially broken off? first of all, what is that? and second, I don't quite understand why someone would buy that? (the other images make sense to me - but that one - maybe because I don't know what it is, don't know why someone would want it?)
It's a block of brewer's yeast. During the lockdown here in Italy it became really difficult to find, so while making some bread at home I took a photo of it (a couple actually, but this is the one that sold the most).
ah, okay, haha, lol! i guess here we don't sell that - so I've never seen it before... I thought it was some kind of broken marble brick or something!
It was hard to find in US right now also, but you can still bay in some stores. You can by dry or fresh.

You are welcome cobalt, when I start with my first sale around 20 years ago I have no ide what to photograph and not really to much information on internet I remember how hard it is. If I am correct my first picture is squirrel scratching head /on slide-transparency/ and was sold for $ 250.00, I do not remember the company name and I am not sure if is still on market. They are selling thru image catalogs, not online.

Depends, some picture from my April sales is only one time sale like images #11 but for $36 I decide squeezed him in for ideas what can sale and it is not really usual price on this days market  but not impossible  so far, every others is sold more than one time with multiple agencies. Hard to recommend someone today, nobody is special

Dreamstime, Deposit photos, barely works in order to upload images on their Upload content. It has been many months and no one has fixed the problems. It makes me think they don't give a D-- about us as contributors. What is your take on this? Why should we have to suffer when we give away our images for pennies? That don't really bother me so much, but why jump through hoops to get things done for us as contributors?
I just upload now some images and is accepted after couple minutes without any problems

Thank you for sharing. I think this is very, very helpful for newbies starting out. Especially the examples of editorial images, many people forget that this makes money as well.
You are welcome. I think it is helpful because long time ago I start with stock photography also. Zero info on internet, only couple books on market. You must send copy from transparency /slides/ to agencies and wait for respond. Pretty expansive for start. This days it is much cheaper. What is bad and good, it is technology changes. I agree, editorial was pretty good. Great if you have some in your portfolio, this can help with monthly total.

I am not the right person to judge photos, especially if they are sellers.
but perhaps you have to consider to remove the sub4sub statement in your "about" page,
they can bring your channel down for that, it's against the TOS i think

Not really, vacation and sometimes 2-3 other short trips for day or weekend. I have customers mostly around me not more than 2 hour by car. But I am ready to travel if someone needs.

It looks nice but too short for my taste..you'll be able to shot only close up or to put something close to the camera to emphasize the movement..
can be extended on tripod to 13-inch length and be retracted back to 6.5 inches
