I thought adobe stock is Fotolia? Aren't all my files from fotolia on adobe stock too? Maybe I am wrong... I'm only uploading to SS these days so I may be out of the loop.

Well don't ever take a photo of a (large) bridge! I was taking one and "they" got my plate number on my car and then called my house and "followed up" with me asking what I was doing. I was terrified!
I'm probably on some list now...

ISO 4000 is very high. If I have to go over 1000 use a tripod and timer instead of increasing the ISO.

"Tell me your budget, and I'll tell you what I can provide."
I LIKE IT! Short, simple and to the point.

She wants "custom" work/photography so if I created the images for her and sold them as stock, she may say she owns the ideas which opens a can of worms I think ...

I never know what to say when I get emails from potential customers for custom work and the first they they say is "I don't have a big budget"...
Any tips or suggestions on how to answer? I don't want to sound rude but it seems so many people "have a small budget" for photography/graphic design work. Some requests are so insulting, I don't even reply back.
Do people assume because you sell micro, you will accept "pennies". I don't know ... Any thoughts?

It is true, even if YouTube removes the video, it won't stop this...

I doubt anything will get done. They are too focused on numbers (not quality). I wonder if anyone is brave enough to submit a blank white or black photo and see if it gets accepted ...

This kind of image spamming makes it so hard for people like me who only upload 2-3 BEST shots from a session. It is so frustrating...

Yeah, they take their sweet time. I'm waiting to file until I get it. It's the ONLY one I need.

So you don't need an EL to do this? I'm opted out of EL's but I guess it would not matter...

It makes them do less work for an image though. Just go to Fotolia and download their comp for free ... No need to search google or grab it from a "blog".
I think if thieves know an image is for sale on micro, it is a hard case to prove - it's in the wild.

Micro is a hard business.
Is it just me or do you have the "Signpost with wooden signs in many colors" 7 times in your port?
Some of the images are not properly exposed, some of the colors are very dull too.
I would suggest trying to get more close ups as well with the background out of focus for copyspace. Bring some props too (in your bookbag). Set up a tripod and get yourself in there (even if it is your back).
Try to challenge yourself more. What do you see that the average person may not see (maybe I getting too conceptual ...)

Web Designers can EASILY use it for a banner (gif) too. Nothing we can do about it though.
